Valiente crushes Ghost Squirrel

recap

taped 2015-01-23 @ Arena México

ramp dropkick carries a lot of momentum

Valiente vs Kamaitachi in a lightning match: [good] not the franatic craziness of the Dragon Lee lightning matches, but Kamaitchi still gave Valiente some big moves and took bigger ones. Valiente’s tope looked killer, and the brainbuster later on looked just as painful. Kamaitachi tried to his same aggressive strategy and Valiente made him pay for it, pretty much destroying him the last few minutes besides a few sorta-hope spots. Valiente won pretty definitely in the end.

Shocker, not working hard for this win

La Máscara, La Sombra, Marco Corleone vs Negro Casas, Shocker, Thunder: [OK] It’s helpful to know this feud goes somewhere in the next couple of weeks because I’m so bored with it now. Like right now, this specific match, with it’s long Ingobernable control section setting up a comeback by the cheered rudos. Not that actual finish makes any sense to set up a tag title match in two weeks. Negro Casas and Sombra had the best battle here but everything’s been in other matches or will be in other matches.

doble tope

Máximo, Mistico, Volador Jr. vs Rey Bucanero, Terrible, Último Guerrero: [OK] better than the last match but still nothing must see. Místico cut his hand open somehow here, because he’s just got the worst luck. He looked slightly better than in Japan, but had the rudos do a lot of work for him. Guerrero & Bucanero made sure to do some of their old team spots, which was nice (though UG just does them with everyone.) Match ended with Terrible and Máximo but they put in as much attention on Místico and cut out the title challenge.
