Lucha Underground today has

There’s also a Fenix/Catrina interaction, judging from this teaser video.

Tonight’s show starts a run of three straight episodes with big stipulation main events. The Fenix/Muertes, Alberto/Texano, Cage/Puma matches all take place the next two weeks, all in big stipulations matches which end their feuds. The Crew/Big Ryck/Sexy Star feud also resolves. It’s kind of a pseudo-PPV, it’s kind of a deck clearing bit with most of April being taken up with other feuds. This should be a fun run of shows.

Pentagon Jr. says he’ll make Myzteziz and Rey Misterio suffer at Rey de Reyes.

Hijo del Fantasma is sure he’s keeping the cruiserweight championship, and wants to win all the AAA titles.

AAA has an audio preview of the 04/01 card in San Luis Potosi.

AYM has an interviews Faby Apache.

Black Terry Jr. has highlights of Alas de Acero & Adrenalina vs Power Bull & Magnum from Sunday’s IWRG show.
Segunda Caida starts a look at Sin Salida 2010.

Flamita’s March 6th match from Dragon Gate is up on DailyMotion

SuperLuchas looks back at Ray Mendoza winning the NWA Middleweight Championship for the first time on a past March 10th.

CMLL has highlights of the 03/06 show.

An headline saying Terrible & Rey Bucanero are the favorite at Dos Leyendas, but the article does not really make the case at all. To be fair, that’s a hard case to make.

Perro Mocho took Gitano’s hair in Xalapa’s Club Apolo.

Draego won the Arena Jalisco Light Heavyweight championship over Rayman and Makabre.

A new restaurant inside of the Minnesota Twins stadium has a wall of luchador masks.

Lineup

IWRG (SUN) 03/15/2015 Arena Naucalpan
Guerra del Golfo, 2015
1) Omega vs Atomic Star
2) Emperador Azteca & Metaleón vs Hip Hop Man & Imposible
3) Black Terry, Chicano, Hijo De Dos Caras vs Negro Navarro, Rayan, Spector
4) Cien Caras Jr. vs Eterno, Danny Casas, El Hijo del Diablo, Hijo de Máscara Año 2000, Hijo del Fishman, Veneno, Oficial 911 [cage, loser advances]
5) Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. vs X-Fly, Relámpago, Universo 2000 Jr., Hijo de LA Park, Apolo Estrada, Oficial AK47, Máscara Sagrada [cage, loser advances]
6) ? vs ?? [cage, mask, hair]

Annual weird IWRG cage match (not to be confused with the two other annual IWRG weird cage matches.) The great thing about IWRG is there are so many guys who lose these matches all the time that it’s really hard to figure out which one exactly is going to lose. X-Fly’s there, for sure, but so are the Oficials and Apolo, and Eterno and Diablo are definitely capable of losing this. So many options.

CMLL (TUE) 03/17/2015 Arena México
1) Angelito & Fantasy vs Pequeño Nitro & Pequeño Universo 2000
2) Flyer, Magnus, Robin vs Disturbio, Espiritu Negro, Metálico
3) Fuego, Pegasso, Tritón vs Puma, Sangre Azteca, Tiger
4) Astral © vs Mercurio [CMLL MINI]
Astral’s 3rd defense.
5) Ángel de Oro, Blue Panther, Dragón Rojo Jr. vs Euforia, Pólvora, Rey Escorpión
6) Atlantis, Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Ephesto, Luciferno, Mephisto

so the new Hijos del Infierno are teaming up on the Friday and Tuesday prior to H2L, just not on the show itself. Polvora & Rey Escorpion continue to run into Angel de Oro & Dragon Rojo in the semimain.

No Tuesday lightning match means Angel de Oro vs Hechicero from Sunday will probably be uploaded by CMLL itself.

CMLL (TUE) 03/17/2015 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) El Divino & Reycko vs Demonio Maya & Relampago
2) Leo, Soberano Jr., Star Jr. vs Artillero, Ráfaga, Súper Comando
3) Goya Kong, Princesa Sugehit, Silueta vs Dalys, Reyna Isis, Tiffany
4) Mistico, Valiente, Volador Jr. vs Gran Guerrero, Niebla Roja, Último Guerrero
5) Negro Casas & Shocker © vs Marco Corleone & Rush [CMLL TAG]
Shocker & Casas’ fifth defense, all versus Ingobernable teams

Canny move by the Ingobernables to add Marco – three new combinations to get title matches!

Guerreros vs Sky Team comes to Guadalajara (probably six days before a title match in Puebla.)

Reyna Isis gets a match! Zeuxis being injured opened up a spot. This would be Isis’ first match on a main CMLL show.

One thought to “Astral vs Mercurio for the minis title, Lucha Underground”

  1. Two weeks ago, Konnan threw the towel after Cage was “punching” Puma’s face, a few days earlier, Stardom main event ended with a towel thrown in after it seems a worked shoot went to far with it. A week ago, Ryck vs SS, a few days earlier, an intergender match with dangerous botches went viral.

Hope this week does not have Dragon Azteca abusing Black Lotus (and PrinceP in flashbacks) while teaching her (them) Lucha… o.O
