La Máscara, Máscara Dorada, Valiente vs Euforia, Gran Guerrero, Thunder: [OK] Gran Guerrero is in the semimain of a big show, that’s pretty good proof it’s not actually a big show. Dry match built around Thunder versus La Mascara of all things. Mascara actually got the técnico girls screaming reaction they’ve wanted for him, but Thunder is still bad at many things. Including this finish. All teased Thunder feuds don’t work because it seems completely implausible CMLL would ever trust him in a singles match. He’s almost going to have to lose a cage match if they’re ever going harvest his mask.
Marco Corleone vs Último Guerrero, Volador Jr., Terrible, Shocker, Bárbaro Cavernario, Rey Bucanero, Máximo, Felino, Blue Panther in a cage match and for the hair: [OK] a cage match built around cute escape spots and then a quick singles matches of cradles. The longest stretch of the match was the 2 on 1 Peste Negra vs Rey Bucanero fight, and probably also the best stretch. All the other action was the usual cage match action. Felino just seemed unluckily caught in a cradle at the end, and his fight to prevent his hair from being cut might have lasted longer than the match. This wasn’t a disaster. It wasn’t underwhelming, but only because the expectations for these are so low. I don’t remember much of the the last cage match with Bucanero and Felino, and I don’t think I’ll remember much of this one.
