Sabado Retro, Rojo/Roja, DTU, Tiger vs ACH

CMLL (SAT) 01/24/2015 Arena Coliseo [CMLL]
1) Cholo b Bengala
Bengala needed a stretcher after the Cholo Driver.
2) Mercurio b Angelito
Mercurio powerbomb for the win.
3) Star Jr. DRAW Disturbio
double pin draw!
4) Canelo Casas b Starman
Canelo submitted Starman to a cloverleaf
5) Amapola b Estrellita
Estrellita’s losing streak continues, this time to a Devil’s Wings.
6) Pierroth & Sagrado b Delta & Guerrero Maya Jr.
The building’s champs lose in a non-title match.
7) Atlantis, Stuka Jr., Valiente DQ Arkángel de la Muerte, Mephisto, Negro Casas
Mephisto replaced Mr. Niebla on Monday. Arkangel replaced Negro Casas on the day of the show, though Negro appeared in the ring to apologize. Mephisto fouled Stuka.

Kind of wonder if lines got crossed here – this would’ve made sense to be the Coliseo Tag Title match, only Misterioso was booked for Los Angeles and already there by Saturday. The finish of the semifinal doesn’t make any sense unless they’re keeping the program going.

They’re not keeping it going next week – CMLL says these shows are off on 01/31 but back on 02/07.

Completely skippable show that I zoned out on while trying to figure out some recording stuff and being distracted by other things on screens. Apparently the announcers were mentioning all show that Dos Leyendas is on 03/20 and I missed it every time. Shows how much I was paying attention.

First year DTU wrestlers defeat Los Nerds

DTU says the Flamita match will soon be on DTU TV. That would be different but nice. Tercera Caida was there so something should be airing.

Tercera Caida also has a lot of clips from the last few days: Arez getting in a dive on Ciclope on the Naucalpan taping, an Aerostar tope and a Myzteziz dive from the main event and a Psycho Clown tope from the same match. In interviews, Aerostar said Super Fly was living in a fantasy world and talked about his Lucha Underground experience. Plus Fuerza Guerrera talking about his Arena Mexico appearance.

According to this Tweet, Rey de Reyes is Saturday March 14th, and that venue looks like Monterrey’s bullring. Not official yet but it fits the usual calendar.

This week’s AAA TV announced an February 8th Ecatepec taping. No surprise, that’s the other early year venue. If the upcoming return to trip to Naucalpan is also a taping, that might be all AAA needs to stretch out to Monterrey. They’re more likely to get in another taping but they could get by with just the four.

In a related but completely inexplicable note, I think this is the official Michinoku Pro Twitter saying the IWRG Ninja Turtles will be on that Ecatepec taping. They had their own Ninja Turtles going on, that’s why someone might care, but I have no earthly idea how they would come to have such information and also feel the need to share it. I am only reporting because it’s hilarious if true and I want this to be how we all find out. Anyway, the clear point here is I’m going die from doing too many Twitter searches.

CMLL posted a video advertising their training school on Facebook. That’s probably something that needs to be places in more prominent place, because people ask about how to get enroll all the time.

UWE announced Ultimo Guerrero & Atlantis were off the 01/31 show, pulled off by CMLL. It’s an angry message, one that seems to indicate they don’t plan no working with CMLL again any time soon.

Chicano & Danny Casas won the IWRG tag team titles today. Black Terry Jr. posted my Phantom Cam videos: a mortal con giro, a plancha con giro and a Hip Hop Plancha

The Lucha y Tinta Libre column writes about Ciclope and Arez debuting in AAA. In talking about the greatest success of Hidalgo luchadors, they mention the current Poetico is the former Campesino del Valle Jr., which I might have known and forgot.

Rob has a music video of 09/30/14 CMLL

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update. Alfredo talked to Mr. Niebla today for an upcoming post, and Niebla claimed he had an injured trachea which caused him to miss the rest of the shows.

LV has reviews of last week’s CMLL Sunday show and Day 5 of FantasticaMania.

I’m not going to be around next Sunday and it’s going to be very tough for me to record it remotely. I’ll try but I dunno, you’re on your own.

Stuka/Hechicero should be good. Third might as well. Molotov continues to be booked, may or may not exist.
