recap

Titan likes the five bounce move this week

Ángel de Oro, Titán, Valiente vs Ephesto, Kamaitachi, Mephisto: [OK] Angel de Oro went around pointing at his head after this match and all I could think is he came startling close to forgetting the rope grab spot. I guess he got enough of it. Maybe it was a brief grab because this was a brief edited down match. Titan looked like the star even though Angel de Oro was meant to be (and Kamaitachi was pretty cool too.) Decently fun tercera just needing some more time to breath.

Dorada running slingshot tornillo

Rey Bucanero vs Volador Jr., Terrible, Máximo, Felino, Bárbaro Cavernario, Blue Panther, Máscara Dorada, Atlantis, Hechicero in a cibernetico match: [OK] Started off well and was less interesting by the time they got to the final. The earlier sequence with everyone taking out everyone else leading to Hechicero versus Máximo was well done. Dorada worked well with Hechicero, promising for a future matchup which might happen. Volador and Rey Bucanero blowing a spot and then rolling around on each other was a less promising sequence of where things were actually going. It turned into the usual screwjob overdrive by the end, trying to build up another match instead of this one. (one the announcers weren’t allowed to talk about yet.) Stuff in the middle might have been thrown off by Panther leaving early; that Cavernaria pinfall was definitely not supposed to happen at that time, Panther was just too hurt to go on.

stone left hand

La Máscara, La Sombra, Marco Corleone vs Euforia, Thunder, Último Guerrero: [OK] Not sure doing two straight foul finishes is the way to go but whatever. This one wasn’t that much anyway. It still seems like things are moving too fast for Thunder (or UG and Euforia just like having to freeze in position for a while for Thunder to be ready.) They were pretty definite about Marco as an Ingobernable but we’ll see if this is remembered a month from now. Outside the dive, Sombra really wasn’t on tonight. Least of all three matches easily.
