1) Hip Hop Man b Sky Ángel
2) Leo, Mike, Rafy, Teelo b Ciclon Black, Royer Boy, Suicida, Tony Rivera
Roller Boy’s name has changed apparently changed. Suicida replaced Dr. Killer. Turtles won again, but Neza Boys vowed to unmasked the turtles.
3) Pantera I, Relámpago, Súper Nova b Apolo Estrada Jr., Canis Lupus, El Hijo del Diablo
Nova & Canis feuded.
4) Chicano b Eterno
Chicano won in straight falls in a match where both bled a lot and continued to fight after the finish. Estrellas del Ring bills Eterno as a “ex-member of Anarquia AAA”.
5) Hijo de Máscara Año 2000 b Hijo De Dos Caras © [IWRG Rey del Ring]
Mascara took 1/3, the last when Universo 2000 Jr. snuck in and hit Dos Caras with a chair. Dos Caras falls on first defense.

+LuchaTV has video of the brawl. Black Terry Jr. has a phantom cam (super slo mo) of a Mascara dive.

Puebla has Marco, Maximo and Valiente facing Euforia, Niebla Roja andShocker in the main event. Every CMLL feud seems to be a combination of Shocker, La Mascara, Maximo and Negro Casas, so they’re probably not starting a Valiente/Niebla Roja issue tonight. Marco and Shocker have had issues too, so maybe that’s possible. Opener might be the best match, with Astral teaming with locals Astro & Asturiano to take on Demus, Espiritu Maligno, and Sauron.

The FantasticaMania does not kick off officially until Tuesday at 6:30pm, but that’s also 3:30AM Mexico City time so it’ll happen prior to the next update. The main event in Osaka is Atlantis, Tanahashi and Volador Jr. facing Ultimo Guerrero, Gran Guerrero and Okada. Angel de Oro and Okumura face off in a lightning match, as Okumura is honored in his home town. Remember, none of the FantasticaMania shows will air on NJPW World until this weekend. It’s possible they may turn up via other means; I’d keep an eye on RealHero’s DailyMotion account.

NJPW posted a discussion of this year’s debutees. Cavernario’s the first guy mentioned and he’s going to do well. Among the many items being sold for this tour – books, buttons, anything you can think ofNJPW has new Bullet Club Latin America t-shirts. They appear to be a NJPW knock off version of the knock off TRT Bullet Club made, even with no TRT members on this tour. Everything is weird.

Konnan fired back against Octagon, accusing him of wrestling while drunk and high. He’s already said such things on Twitter. Octagon’s definitely had matches where he appeared to be in no condition to wrestle; the one where he held the wrong set of ropes open is forever the first one that comes to mind, but it’s not the only questionable match by far. Octagon has responded by posting distorted photos of Konnan and shots of himself by a pool.

In honor of Negro Casas’ birthday yesterday, They Buried The Cowboy Under The Russian Flag has an Ode to Negro Casas.

Super Libre’s show hyped Rayman vs Makabre.

Fuego en el Ring talked to Satanico.

DoradaFan has a music video of 2014-11-25 CMLL.

Black Terry Jr. has lots of photos from the ChilangaMask show and highlights of Black Terry vs Trauma II.

Segunda Caida reviews Máscara Púrpura, Súper Nova, Valiente vs. Misterioso II, Rey Hechicero, Virus

Sombra is sure Sombra is the #1 star in CMLL. Sombra would be really good if he ever got some confidence.

Lucha Libre In Japan

01/12 REINA: Syuri (c) b Shuu Shibutani [CMLL WOMEN] – 1st defense, via buzzsaw kick in 13:24.
Kana, who is the REINA GM, thru red wine on Syuri and spit mist at her second. That seems rude.

Goya Kona and Muneca de Plata failed in their REINA tag title challenge earlier on the show. RealHero has video of their match on the 12/26 show.

This is the same building that the Angel de Oro/Okumura title match is happening, so it’s the weird oddity of two different promotions holding CMLL title matches in the same Japanese facility in the same week.

  1. I wonder if Octagon would get more sympathy if he admitted he had some personal demons in the past and is now over them. Denying he ever worked drunk just makes him very unlikable because everyone knows he’s lying. Every lucha fan in Mexico has a story about attending a non TV AAA show where Octagon was shitfaced.
