strong rudo bumbling

Dinastía & Mascarita Sagrada vs Mini Abismo Negro & Mini Histeria: [GOOD] Easily a good match, with Dinastía and Sagrada both looking great and Mini Abismo and Mini Histeria bumbling on. This could’ve used more time so the rudos had any length of control – they might had it for twenty seconds and this felt really one sided, but it’s a good combination of wrestlers for a one sided match. There’s no direction to the minis division but that’s fine as long as they keep turning out matches like this.

Dinastia very rolly headscissors
Super belly to belly superplex
Sagrada diving headscissors
what happens when you talk too much

Australian Suicide & Jack Evans vs El Apache & Joe Lider: [OK] Jack remembered he was attacked, which is more than I expect sometimes. This kind of lost me right after the botched leapfrog, which also seems totally unfair – they were working hard the rest of the way and it’s just one botched spot, but something was missing for me. The parts with Apache versus the técnicos was good and Evans & Suicide worked well as a team for two guys who haven’t been without Angelico normally. This also seemed to only have the rudos strongly in control for a moment, so maybe it’s just new philosophy they’re doing now. They seemed to build Suicide/Pentagon AND Fantasma/Jack, but think I’m just dreaming. The destruction in that was crazy. Someone got Suicide the Chessman tale.

leaping is not Lider’s strong suit
moonsaults everywhere
crazy dives
cheap AAA ladders work out for once
AAA table works out as painfully as usual
springboard armdrag in a rainstorm

El Mesías & Myzteziz vs Averno & Hijo del Fantasma: [below average] Same as the main event last week: the conditions, not the luchadors, have caused the match to be completely impossible. Averno and Mesías struggle for their footing just to start, and it becomes a game of trying to figure out what they can still do without things going haywire. Later, Averno almost loses his footing selling punches. Myzteziz is a crazy man for trying the running up the corner headscissors and it showed on the springboard and missed dive – he couldn’t adjust as well as the other guys. Rain never gets picked up really well on TV but it was bad enough for it to be apparent in SD. It seemed like they were stalling as if they could out last the rain, but they probably went about the original amount of time. Piero had to audible tell Myzteziz and Averno to go the finish, that wasn’t good.
