2014-12-01 Arena Puebla Mephisto © vs Valiente [MEX LH]

Recall that Hector Garza got five shots at Ultimo Guerrero and the heavyweight championship before finally winning it, so Valiente is still in good shape.

(Note that the Arena Puebla Twitter posted zero times about Arena Puebla last night – but did RT the questionable Ultimo Guerrero Twitter. Neither are probably official.)

Sangre Azteca replaces Polvora in the semimain and Arkangel & Canelo Casas replace Cancerbero & Raziel in the tercera today.

CMLL also announced that tomorrow’s bodybuilding contest will air live on Terra at noon. Maybe someone asked? I dunno. Will try to record but I’m not handling that speedily this week.

All the good CMLL information is buried in a reply on their Facebook page: CMLL confirmed Zeuxis, as the daughter of a Mexican woman (and Puerto Rican father) is eligible for the Mexican Women’s Championship in the eyes of the Mexico City lucha commission. (And so the title match being pulled wasn’t about that.)

Black Terry Jr. has highlights of Sagrado/Arez, Hechicero/Black Terry, and the CMLL/indy trios from the ChilangaMask show.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update and this week’s Poster-Mania.

DoradaFan has a music video of early Sombra.

This week’s magazine covers go with Infierno en el Ring as the main story.

+LuchaTV has video of Toxin Boy breaking his fingers at the WCS show, longer highlights for Fly Star vs Toxin Boy from that show, Fly Warrior vs Herodes Jr., and Alfa getting hit hard on that show (which may explain his injury on IWRG.)

Negro Navarro & ? vs Black Terry & ? has been added to the 12/21 Lucha Memes show. Navarro ought to choose Guerrero Maya Jr. since he’s probably planning on getting involved anyway. Given the recent family fights in IWRG, perhaps Terry will team with one of the Traumas?

Cara Lucha has a promo for a 12/28 Lucharama show with the Sky Stars playing SNES and a Hechicero promo for the 11/29 show.

Ohtani’s Jacket reviews more La Fiera vs El Dandy.

Tsunami won the annual Copa LLF.

Ultimo Guerrero is #1 on CMLL’s top 10. Stigma is #10 based on being chosen for FantasticaMania.

Dinastia is upset at Mini Charly Manson for jumping him instead of just asking for a title match.

A brief Taya interview about her career.

The two day Puebla Lucha Libre Expo was said to draw 3,000 people. The shows were local luchadors (including Pegasso and a few Arena Puebla guys.)

Blue Demon Jr. spoke at a political discussion, said he’d start his own party if he got into politics because all the existing ones are rotten.

Lineup

Star Jr. replaces Starman on Friday. Virus replaces Boby Zavala and Triton replaces Pegasso on Sunday in Arena Coliseo.

CMLL (MON) 12/01/2014 Arena Puebla
1) Artillero, Guerrero Espacial, Súper Comando vs Asturiano, Black Tiger, Sensei
2) Metálico, Policeman, Toro Bill Jr. vs Lestat, Oro Jr., The Panther
3) Misterioso Jr., Pierroth, Sagrado vs Ángel de Oro, Stuka Jr., Tigre Rojo Jr.
4) Mephisto © vs Valiente [MEX LH]
Mephisto’s tenth defense.
5) Bárbaro Cavernario, Negro Casas, Shocker vs La Máscara, Máximo, Volador Jr.

Will this be the time? Maybe. Mascara and Volador will annoy each other in the main event – how haven’t they have four matches already?

Lestat is listed as returning (from retiring), but he was also listed on those Puebla Expo shows and didn’t wrestle there either so I hope someone else is ready. Tigre Rojo Jr. making i up all the way to the terceras is somewhat interesting.

CMLL (SUN) 11/30/2014 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) El Tapatío vs Relampago Azul
2) Dr. Frezeer vs El Chacal
3) Leo & Virgo vs Furia Nazi & Sádico
4) Exterminador vs Demonio Maya
5) Dragon Lee, Gallo, Máscara Dorada vs Jocker, Mr. Águila, Olímpico
6) Ángel de Oro vs Euforia

El Chacal makes his debut; he turned up on Club Arena Olimpia. Oro/Euforia seems like it should be a title match, but maybe that means Euforia has a chance.
