Super Porky defies regular physics

Diamante Azul, Gallo, Super Porky vs Kráneo, Mr. Águila, Ripper: [OK] Normal Super Porky match. Mr. Aguila broke the laws of physics by not sunset flipping Super Porky when given the chance. Kraneo was fun though more fun in other matches. Diamante Azul did Diamante Azul things.

Gran Guerrero plancha

Titán vs Gran Guerrero: [OK/GOOD] Gran Guerrero didn’t show anything here and Titan didn’t go crazy enough to carry enough in to something good; it was very much what you would’ve figured this match to be. They did work as a single fall match (which is normal in GDL for most singles matches) and it didn’t feel that out of the ordinary missing the fall spots. It was missing some more drama; Gran Guerrero breaking out Ultimo Guerrero’s big spots wasn’t doing it. There were a lot of near falls, but never a moment where it felt like either guy was actually going to win until the finish. This was not bad and Gran Guerrero didn’t fall on his face, but there’s a lot better Titan out there.

Rush’s unnecessary dropkick is the best part

La Máscara, La Sombra, Rush vs Cavernario, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas: [OK/GOOD] In the vein of other Peste Negra/Ingobernables matches, with the young guys coming off as even stronger than usual. First two falls are as if Rush, Sombra and Mascara are playing on Easy difficulty. It’s beyond one sided. It’s mostly Negro and Cavernario getting beat. Niebla disappears for a half hour while poor Cavernario is just victimized by the Ingobernables. Niebla turning the tables via spit seems like something they should’ve thought before now. Cavernario was a strong fit in this match, getting the crowd behind him as he evenly fought against La Mascara in the end.
