1) Hip Hop Man & Power Bull b Saruman & Sky Ángel
2) Dragón Celestial, Metaleon, Septimo Dragon b Anubis Black, Araña de Plata, Atomik Star
The Rudos are “Los Insanity”
3) Leo, Mike, Rafy, Teelo b Liderk, Rayan, Spartan, Spector
Ninja Turtles back to winning.
4) El Hijo del Diablo, Trauma I, Trauma II b Dr. Cerebro, Negro Navarro, Relámpago
Diablo beat Cerbero again and the two made hair match challenges. Money thrown in.
5) Golden Magic, Súper Nova, Toscano DQ Canis Lupus, Chicano, Eterno
Ended up a bloody match. Tecnicos took 2/3, Canis Eterno pulled Magic & Nova’s mask and fouled them for a DQ. Masks vs mask/hair challenges fouled.

If Canis Lupus is going to try this, which doesn’t seem like a great idea to try, he probably should be doing it with a partner who doesn’t lose a hair match ever year.

La Sombra was announced for the NJPW World Tag League from 11/22 to 12/07. Sombra’s teaming with Naito, Sombra will be taking every single pinfall, and they’re finishing in the bottom half of their group. Let’s move onto the important stuff: how this changes CMLL booking!

Sombra will be off the 11/21, 11/28, and 12/05 Friday shows By the time he’s back, CMLL & NJPW will announce the FantasticaMania lineups and perphaps even the matches. (They may hold it off until after the Dome show.) There’s always a tag or trios title defense on FantasticaMania, but the challengers for all those titles are the Ingobernables – CMLL hasn’t even hinted at another team. Only the Ingobernables aren’t able to be challengers for the trios titles without La Sombra and they probably would’ve won the tag team titles already if that was a plan. Which means it’s (at least) one of the existing teams going, except Shocker and Niebla seem unlikely to get picked to go to Japan (and are the perfect kind of guys to main event Arena Mexico those couple of weeks.) Ultimo Guerrero is already going on this trio, but Sombra going to Japan now means Euforia and Niebla Roja are probably on the tour later.

Just to descend into more speculation, what we can guess about the FantasticaMania roster

Already Announced
1) Ultimo Guerrero
2) Barbaro Cavernario

Locks (should be assumed every year unless injury)
3) Okumura
4) La Sombra
5) Rush
6) Mascara Dorada
7) Maximo
8) Mistico

trios title friends
9) Euforia
10) Niebla Roja

now I’m just guessing
11) Dragon Lee – Tiger Hattori gave him the thumbs up! They need six differnetshows, one of them can have the Rush/Mistico/Lee trios
12) Cachorro – well, they sent most of the En Busca de un Idolo finalsts last year and the year prior (and they need people just to be in 5 minute openers)
13) Hechicero – except Valiente, and Hechicero already got that treatment once
14) Mephisto – need some rudos, need to do a title match
15 ) Negro Casas – total wishcasting, Volador makes sense too. Plenty of people do.

This week’s AAA TV announced a taping on 11/30 Tuxtla Gutierrez. They’re going from no tapings for five weeks to four tapings in twenty days. They’ve now added and removed this extra taping before Guerra de Titanes. This means they’re back to not needing Best of episodes and Guerra de Titanes won’t air until the far future.

5) Titán © vs Pólvora [MEX WELTER]
Titan’s sixth defense
6) Atlantis, Máscara Dorada, Volador Jr. vs Euforia, Mephisto, Negro Casas

Back at Arena Mexico for no reason

Titan & Polvora meet twice in five days, at least as currently set up. They’ve got the lightning match on Tuesday before coming back on Sunday.

Main event could be fun. Sangre Azteca returning from injury pushed Pierroth out of his own trio (and that’s quite the weird rudo team.) Sangre’s recent Fuego en el Ring interview gave the impression he was not this close to returning and wouldn’t until he felt 100%, so maybe lineup subject to change. My guesses on those things haven’t been good of late though.

One thought to “Canis Lupus/Eterno vs Golden Magic/Super Nova, Sombra to NJPW”

  1. There is currently a TV interview with Cassandro on my ondemand service from the TV channel Fusion, from the tv show Fusion Live which is a news program sort of like 60 minutes. The episode is from 10/14. Nothing new in the interview that he hasn’t talked about in the million other interviews he has done, but I don’t remember you reporting about it when it initially happened. So if you get the Fusion channel, it should still be listed in the ondemand section of your cable.
