I haven’t seen it, but Dragon Lee versus Raziel sounds like the match you want it to be. No angles on the show.

Perhaps a little more variety of finishes. One of those is setting up a singles match next week, one of those is not, there’s no real reason why.

AAA held it’s annual remembrance mass for Antonio Pena on Monday. Many people spoke about their memories and they released white balloons in his honor. Octagon, who hasn’t been around AAA this year, was one of those people who spoke. Atomic Boy was among the big group of people mentioned in attendance; he hasn’t been seen since dislocating his shoulder in a July 2013 match.

Alberto el Patron will be working for the Wrestle-1 promotion in Japan. He was announced for an 11/01 show at Sumo Hall. Nosawa had previously said he was trying to bring Alberto over for his own promotion, but this is the one Keiji Mutoh runs and where Hijo del Pantera currently wrestles.

Cara Lucha Promociones, the group that’s running Arena San Juan about every other weekend, is announcing the 8 teams in their tag team tournament one a day. They’ve announced indy standouts los Magnificos, Oro Jr & Star Jr. and Super Halcon Jr. & Hombre Bala Jr. so far, which is a pretty good start.

Tercera Caida is on today at 5 today, as is CMLL Informa. Neither show has announced guests as of yet.

There’s a lucha libre photo exhibition in Puebla’s zocalo from 10/15 to 10/22. This seems modeled after the CMLL photo exhibition from last year (though on a lot smaller scale – 12 photos) and there are plans to move it to parks around the city after that.

CMLL has stories on Electrico’s cibernetico and Volador retaining his title in Puebla. They note that rudo Sagrado worked as Sombra’s corner man. CMLL also has highlights of the week are here.

Canek challenges Wagner. Wagner challenges LA Park.

Segunda Caida reviews Lucha Azteca 08/02/14 and Negro Casas vs Rush, super short version.

Ohtani’s Jacket reviews more vintage Negro Casas, then decides it’s not vintage after all.

SuperLuchas interviews Tulancingo’s Hardman.

A history of lucha libre in Oaxaca.

Lineups

CMLL (TUE) 10/14/2014 Arena México
1) Flyer & Sensei vs Camorra & Espanto Jr.
2) Black Panther, Oro Jr., Soberano Jr. vs Canelo Casas, El Rebelde, Metálico
3) Estrellita, Goya Kong, Princesa Sugehit vs La Comandante, Makoto, Narumiya
4) Rey Cometa vs Niebla Roja [lightning]
5) Ángel de Oro, Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Boby Zavala, Hechicero, Rey Escorpión
6) Atlantis, Stuka Jr., Valiente vs Bárbaro Cavernario, Felino, Negro Casas

The Japanese women are in starting next week as rudas – that’s a long trip to work a Goya Kong match.

Rey Cometa and Niebla Roja should be fun. The top two matches have chances as well.

That segunda is El Rebelde’s first match here in three months. No idea what happened.

CMLL (TUE) 10/14/2014 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) Metatrón & Star Jr. vs Akuma & Ráfaga
2) Astral, Eléctrico, Meteoro vs Mercurio, Pequeño Olímpico, Pierrothito
3) Esfinge, Gallo, Omar Brunetti vs Misterioso Jr., Pierroth, Sagrado
4) Máximo vs Rey Bucanero
5) Euforia, Gran Guerrero, Último Guerrero vs Diamante Azul, Marco Corleone, Titán

Maximo versus Rey Bucanero was a match they were doing a lot, then Maximo threatned to quit, then they stopped doing that match. I don’t think that sequence of events is connected at all, it’s just funny when you see it like that. Possibly funnier than the match.

I am not excited for this edition of 52MX at all.

6) Canek, Heavy Metal, Máscara Sagrada vs Justiciero, Máscara Año 2000, Universo 2000

We saw the build up to this show and now I’m emotionally invested in Aramis versus Juana La Loca and the other stuff is good as well. I would absolutely go to this show.
