CMLL (TUE) 08/12/2014 Arena México [CMLL, Yahoo! Deportes]
1) Camorra & Ramstein b Bengala & Fresbee
Fresbee returned from obscurity to replace Flyer; it was his first match here in 13 months.
2) Canelo Casas, Hijo del Signo, Nitro b Leono, Robin, Sensei
Rudos took 1/3.
3) Kamaitachi, Okumura, Puma b Black Panther, Starman, Súper Halcón Jr.
4) Arkángel de la Muerte b Hombre Bala Jr. [lightning] (posted by VideosOficialesCMLL)
dropped down a spot. Arkangel replaced Sangre Azteca (knee surgery) and defeated Bala.
5) Kráneo, Puma, Ripper b Delta, Fuego, Guerrero Maya Jr.
Rudos took 1/3, with Maya taking the Kraneo Special in the third and being stretchered off.
6) La Máscara, Máximo, Valiente DQ Mr. Niebla, Shocker, Tiger
Tecnicos took 2/3. Maximo faked a foul from Shocker.

They’re heating up Guerrero Maya versus Kraneo! Slow build to the 2015 Anniversary show main event, obviously.

CMLL (TUE) 08/12/2014 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [@acogdl]
1) El Divino & Sky Kid b Évola & Sádico
Tecnicos took 1/3.
2) Artillero & Súper Comando b Esfinge & Leo

3) Magnus, Soberano Jr., Stigma b Demonio Maya, Demonio Rojo, Ráfaga
Tecnicos took 2/3, Magnus beating Rafaga.
4) Omar Brunetti b Disturbio [hair]
Disturbio won fall 1, fouled Omar for the DQ in fall 2, and Omar beat Disturbio in fall 3.
5) Gran Guerrero, Mephisto, Último Guerrero b Atlantis, Máscara Dorada, Volador Jr.
Rudos took 1/3, Gran Guerrero sneaking in foul on Atlantis and UG taking the pin.
6) Marco Corleone b Terrible
Marco took 1/3 to beat the heavyweight champion in a non-title match.

Marco remains the uncrowned heavyweight champion of the world. Kind of wonder how the crowd is going to react if/when CMLL does the Gran Guerrero helping Ultimo Guerrero to win finish in Arena Mexico.

Brunetti gets a big win after already losing his hair a couple months ago. Not sure anywhere else is consistently behind their youngsters as Guadalajara does. IWRG kind of does, and then kind of forgets about guys, and then makes sure you know they’re not the actual top guys. Cavernario breaking thru (by going to Mexico City) kind of helps everyone else’s case here.

Hugo Savinovich apparently told a podcast that Rey Misterio Jr. wants to leave WWE and join AAA. That’s what anyone following the story could’ve guessed – it’s certainly what WWE is guessing, since they haven’t let him go.

Lineups

IWRG (SUN) 08/17/2014 Arena Naucalpan
1) Black Niko & Sky Ángel vs Capitán Muerte & Matrix Jr.
2) Dragón Celestial, Golden Magic, Látigo vs Anubis Black, Hip Hop Man, Zurdog
3) Kenshi Kabuki, Pantera, Veneno vs Apolo Estrada Jr., Canis Lupus, Eterno
4) Oficial 911 & Oficial AK47 vs Trauma I & Trauma I [hair, mask]
5) Cien Caras Jr., Demon Clown, LA Park vs Hijo De Dos Caras, Máscara Sagrada, Pirata Morgan

Not sure Sunday is the best time to spring for LA Park. I guess it’s possible to get to Arena Ciudad de Mexico from the main event of this show (which starts an hour earlier, at 5pm) but that’s as unlikely as the Traumas losing the semimain.

No idea who Kabuki is. Teaming with Pantera suggests he might be a trainee from Japan.

5) Delta, Tritón, Valiente vs Pierroth, Puma, Tiger
6) Marco Corleone, Máximo, Stuka Jr. vs Ephesto, Mephisto, Shocker

They’re setting up a Shocker/Maximo match? They’re setting up a Shocker/Maximo match.

Semifinal is one wrestler away from being really good. The problem is that one luchador is very far away from being any good.

CMLL (TUE) 08/19/2014 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) El Divino & Robin vs Inquisidor & Jocker
2) Dragon Lee, Leo, Omar Brunetti vs Boby Zavala, Disturbio, Sádico
3) Diamante Azul, Gallo, Super Porky vs Kráneo, Mr. Águila, Ripper
4) Titán vs Gran Guerrero
5) La Máscara, La Sombra, Rush vs Cavernario, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas

Titan wins or we riot. Main event should be a fun time.
