5) Electroshock, Myzteziz, Psycho Clown vs Averno, Jeff Jarrett, Texano

Air Date: 07/05.  This is after the Puebla taping, to keep track.

Even with the weird non-match in the main event (as all Jarrett matches are intended to be), this could be one of the best cards of the year. Matches 3 and 4 are strong bets to be great. Match #1 should have highlights; the Argos/Argenis pairing is the most inconsistent bit, but maybe they’ll step over for the occasion. AAA minis matches are good on average and they’re over due for a Dinastia TV appearance.

Psycho Clown and Texano match up again, making that TripleMania match more likely. Daga versus Bengala in the tercera is also a preview to a title match, and Pentagon Jr. and Australian Suicide should still have issues in the semimain.

Texano being in the main event gives me a chance to link to this Texano interview I should’ve had in the original post. It’s another piece bragging about the length of the reign and the “11 defenses.” I would assume most people reading that are probably figuring Texano’s just making up numbers, but 11 defenses is actually what the luchawiki has (or will have once I add Verano.) There is the slight problem of Texano mentioning how he’s now beat Psycho Clown twice when it’s actually three times if you start counting the non-TV defenses to make his streak sound impressive, but oh well. This has been your fact checking paragraph for the day.

Listed referees do not include Rafael el Maya. I wonder if he’s actually in full time or was just there for the one angle.

Next taping is 07/03 in Xalapa and I bet that one will turn up oddly as well.
