1) Molotov & Sensei b El Rebelde & Zayco Molotov & Sensei vs El Rebelde & Zayco, on DailyMotion (posted by thecubsfan)
Tecnicos took 1/3.
2) Pequeño Olímpico, Pequeño Universo 2000, Pequeño Warrior b Angelito, Bam Bam, Fantasy Angelito, Bam Bam, Fantasy vs Pequeno Olipico, Pequeno Universo 2000, Pequeno Warrior, on DailyMotion (posted by thecubsfan)
Angelito replaced Electrico on Tuesday. Rudos took 1/3.
3) Metálico, Puma, Skándalo b Oro Jr., Sagrado, Tritón Oro Jr., Sagrado, Triton vs Metalico, Puma, Skandalo, on DailyMotion (posted by thecubsfan)
Straight falls for the tecnicos. Metailco tried to toss his mask to Oro Jr. in the second for the DQ, but referee Edgar figured it out and DQed Metailco instead. Metalico stole Oro’s mask after the match.
4) Valiente b Vangellys [lightningValiente vs Vangellys in a lightning match, on DailyMotion (posted by thecubsfan)
Valiente submitted Vangellys in a startlingly brief match.
5) Blue Panther, Fuego, La Máscara b Niebla Roja, Pierroth, Virus Blue Panther, Fuego, La Mascara vs Niebla Roja, Pierroth, Virus, on DailyMotion (posted by thecubsfan)
Pierroth replaced Gran Guerrero on Tuesday. La Mascara didn’t get along with his partners. Tecnicos took 1/3, Fuego beating Virus for the deciding pin. Fuego asked for a title shot and Virus was not definite on the answer.
6) Atlantis, Máximo, Rush b Felino, Negro Casas, Rey Escorpión Atlantis, Maximo, Rush vs Felino, Negro Casas, Rey Escorpion, on DailyMotion (posted by thecubsfan)
Rudos jumped the tecnicos to start a brawl. Negro and Rush didn’t make it to the ring for the first two fall. Rudos took 1/3, Rush defeating Casas (and then not getting along with his partners.) Rush beat up Casas after the match and demanded a date for their hair match.

Nothing super on the show, though Fuego versus Virus should be pretty good. It was last time. Both Ultimo Guerrero & Atlantis and Rush & Negro Casas running storylines about how CMLL won’t give them the date to the match seems very self indicting.

Next Sunday’s show is in Arena Mexico for Father’s Day.

Gallo defeated Zavala. Gallo’s first defense. Zavala snatched his mask post match, which led to a brawl with Esfinge and Sadico.
6) La Sombra, Rey Cometa, Titán b Cavernario, Dragón Rojo Jr., Mr. Águila

06/07 AAA TV Results (Orizaba) – Verano de Escandalo 2014

AAA TV (SAT) 06/07/2014 Plaza de Toros La Concordia, Orizaba, Veracruz [AAAEl Mundo de Orizaba
***Verano de Escandalo, 2014***
1) Aerostar, Ludxor, Venum b Carta Brava Jr., El Apache, Súper Fly
Aerostar beat Super Fly, but the rudos attacked him after the fact.
2) El Elegido, Faby Apache, Mascarita Sagrada, Pimpinela Escarlata b Mamba, Mini Abismo Negro, Sexy Star, Silver King
Elegido defeated Silver King.
3) Bengala b AngélicoDark ScoriaAustralian SuicideHijo del FantasmaFénixPentagón Jr.Jack Evans [AAA CRUISER, #1 Contenders, semifinal]
Moved down a spot. Eliminations went Scoria (via Jack), Jack (via Fantasma), Angelico (via Pentagon Jr.), Australian Suicide (Pentagon Jr.), Fantasma (Fenix), Fenix (Pentagon Jr.), and Pentagon Jr. (via Bengala’s 8.1)? leaving Bengala as the winner. Bengala faces Aerostar (and Daga?) at some other time.
4) Crazy Boy, Joe Lider, Niño Hamburguesa b Daga, Eterno, Steve Pain
Moved up a spot. Nino splash on Daga for the win.
5) Texano © b Psycho Clown [AAA HEAVY]
Hijo del Tirantes was appointed referee, which Psycho Clown protested. Joaquin thought it over and appointed Rafael el Maya (who just happened to be in Orizaba?) as the replacement referee. Texano retained with Maya was distracted – but it turned out the ex-CMLL referee was actually with Consejo all along. Texano’s 11th defense, first on TV since October – two straight with heel referees giving the champion of the world the win. Psycho wants a mask vs hair match.
6) Cibernético, La Parka, Myzteziz b Averno, Chessman, el Hijo del Perro Aguayo
Texano interfered, but Psycho Clown ran him off. Myzteziz defeated Chessman with la Mistica.

Air Date: 06/14 & 06/21

Dorian said it was a sold out show and was retweeting a person who said it was more than 7,000. The local newspaper said almost full.

My uneducated hunch is Psycho Clown versus Texano Jr. mask versus hair match is actually going to take place – they’ve got too long teasing Psycho Clown getting the win, it just doesn’t seem like they’re giving him the title in the end. (Or maybe they will, and just put both on the line.)

It kind of has to be happening, because there’s nothing else here really set up for TripleMania. Myzteziz will be in the main event, either in all-star trios/atomicos like this, or something where Black Warrior gets a payday, or maybe even a non-stip match with Perro or Averno. Those apuesta matches aren’t happening this year, but they can still bring the name value and Psycho/Texano match can be the event. Everything else – including maybe Chessman/Demon – is everything else.

The Rafael el Maya angle comes of as a cute bit done without worrying about how dumb it looks. Joaquin’s obviously a dummy for unknowingly bringing in a crooked referee – and it’s actually workable if there’s some serious retribution coming (maybe the justification for making the mask/hair match?) Rafael el Maya looks silly for complaining about CMLL running undignified matches like submission only and super libre plus and ending up as an evil referee in AAA. (It’s more the earlier comments that were the problem – either a lack of perspective about lucha libre outside of CMLL or just sour grapes.) Doing that finish again really doesn’t hurt the Mega World Title only because it’s so little important right now; they needed more than one good finish to make it worthwhile. Still do.

Cruiserweight match reads and looks as though it lived up to expectations. It’s still not clear if Aerostar faces Bengala if they both face Daga or if something else entirely happens. We just know it’s not happening in Puebla.

There’s still the ground work being laid for the Aerostar versus Super Fly in a mask match. It seems hard to believe there’ll be enough room for it on the TripleMania card when they start to put it together (maybe it’ll happen later in the year.) Aerostar ought to be worried about Super Fly getting involved whenever that trios match happens.

Next taping is 06/20 in Puebla. They originally announced it as 06/13 but did bump it back a week.
