AAA says this card is “not official”. Which is completely accurate, they haven’t officially released this card yet.

Original Post:

Air Date: 06/14 and 06/21? Sure, sounds good.

Poster is found here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=305477462949080 – note user complains about too many darn tournaments on these big AAA shows. AAA hasn’t confirmed this lineup yet and may not be able to until after Celaya if they’re holding Mistico’s name until then.

Let’s start there: they’re actually going to just call him Mistico! He’s even pictured with his Mistico mask on the poster. That’s obviously the strongest name to use him under. AAA seems to have no fear about using CMLL owned names. No idea why, but it’s happening.

That match is going to be a big deal. The Psycho/Texano match is what they’ve been build towards for the last 7 months and really needs to be a title change at this point or it’s going to be very tough to care about AAA’s long builds again.

What is going on with Daga? I am so confused. That eight way match should be really good, but I’m not sure why it’s actually occurring. Maybe this will be explained on TV next week.

The bottom half of the card is more normal TV stuff. This is like most non-TripleMania AAA big events, where one or two storylines get to a turning point and the rest of the show is a normal show. They did remember Aerostar and Super Fly are feuding – this is the first time they’ve faced each other after breaking up five months ago.

No women’s title match, so whatever the contenders match is setting up in Celaya won’t be for a while. Maybe either that or the cruiserweight title will be decided in Puebla – the next show, on 06/13.
