CMLL (SUN) 03/02/2014 Arena Coliseo [CMLL, LuchaWorld]
1) Pequeño Olímpico & Pequeño Violencia b Fantasy & Stukita
Tecnicos took 2/3.
2) Canelo Casas, Disturbio, Inquisidor b Metálico, Molotov, Sensei
Rudos took 1/3.
3) Estrellita, Goya Kong, Marcela DQ Amapola, Dalys, Princesa Sugheit
Straight falls, Dallys (weakly) disqualified for too much hair pulling of Marcela.
4) La Máscara, Máximo, Titán b Ephesto, Gran Guerrero, Virus
Tecnicos took 2/3
5) Kráneo, Mr. Águila, Reaper b Atlantis, Marco Corleone, Volador Jr.
Rudos took 1/3. Reaper snuck in a foul on Atlantis (though the referee seemeed to be looking at it.) Mr. Aguila was in poor form.
6) La Sombra b Dragón Rojo Jr. [NWA MIDDLE]
La Sombra came in as champion. 3rd defense, six months since the last one. Dragon Rojo was the previous champion, getting his first rematch. Sombra won a first fall with a double moonsault, Dragon Rojo won the second with the Dragon Bomb, both really quick. Third fall was epic, both man surviving big moves time and time until Sombra finally won with a final Shadow Bomb (Brillante Driver.)

First five matches weren’t much. Stukita is still cool, Estrellita & Goya Kong are amusing, and Mr. Aguila was horrible, but the matches were generally not memorable. Main event was definitely memorable. It actually just seemed like a perfunctory title match for a while, with the typical short opening falls and everyone doing their usual moves, but it kept going and kept getting bigger. There was a strong Dragon Rojo clothesline that really marked the point where they took it up a notch, and they both went thru everything they had. It felt like the best singles match Dragon Rojo has ever had, and one of the better Sombra ones.

CMLL (SUN) 03/02/2014 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [@acogdl]
1) El Tapatío b El Piraña
2) El Yaqui & Infierno b Idolo & Javier Cruz
Rudos took 2/3.
3) Demonio Rojo b El Divino
4) Black Metal & Leo b Exterminador & Sádico
Black Metal is returning from an injury suffered 12/25. Tecnicos took 2/3.
5) Máscara Dorada, Stuka Jr., Valiente b Maléfico, Niebla Roja, Ráfaga
Tecnicos took 2/3. Stuka and Rafafa feuded again, but Stuka got the win.
6) Mistico b Pólvora
Mistico took 2/3, the last with La Mistica.

Mistico won a feud, good for him.

DTU Alto Impacto champion Jinzo won the NOAH tryout in Tulancingo this weekend and will get a trip to an upcoming DTU tour. Xalapa (and WWL’s) Vengador Radioactivo finished second and Artikuz finished third.

The replacement Alebrije defeated King Vikingo in a mask versus hair match. The new Monsther kidnapped the new Cuije in the first fall, but Alan Stone – perhaps the Mexican Liam Neeson? – rescued Cuije in time for him to foul Vikingo in the third to give Alebrije the win.

Fenix & Impulso beat Tony Rodriguez & Makabre in Arena Robrto Paz in a good match, but everyone agreed to a Fusion title match next month.

A scheduled Atlantis & Gran Guerrero versus Ultimo Guerrero & Guerrero Maya relevos increibles ended with Ultimo fouling Atlantis, though they may have switched back to the standard teams by the end of the match.

Super Libre had Silueta, Angel Blanco Jr., Dalys, and more as guests.

Lineups

CMLL (SUN) 03/09/2014 Arena Coliseo
1) Magnus & Metatrón vs Akuma & Cholo
2) Camaleón, Metálico, Sensei vs Hechicero, Hooligan, Nitro
3) Hombre Bala Jr., Molotov, Starman vs Arkángel de la Muerte, Kamaitachi, Shigeo Okumura
4) Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Sangre Azteca [lightning]
5) Diamante Azul, Rey Cometa, Super Porky vs Misterioso Jr., Puma, Tiger
6) Máscara Dorada, Valiente, Volador Jr. vs Reaper, Rey Bucanero, Terrible

Volador/Reaper feud continues, for some reason. Lightning match should be good. Segunda is a En Busca de un Idolo final preview, possibly! I assume Akuma & Cholo are gunning for revenge on behalf of their amigo Zayco in the opener.
