Atlantis took the first, but Niebla took the second while holding the ropes, and the third after a foul. Lots of mask ripping.

Panthro won Copa Lugaman, a four way all technical match with Tigre Universitario, Silver Star and Charles Lucero this past Sunday. (It may air on TV this week.) The bigger news is LuchaMania told Charles Lucero about finishing 11th in the Voice of Wrestling 2013 match of the year voting, and Lucero was reportedly surprised and confused. That is the best reaction.

Fuego en El Ring interviewed Black Panther & Cachorro. Panther says he’s trained for four years, under Solar, Ultimo Guerrero, Franco Colombo and Virus, not to mention their father. Cachorro acknowledges everyone is going to compare them to their father, so they have to be good.

Rob has highlights of 11/08/13 CMLL.

CMLL has sent out a press release teasing all the previously teased matches that could happen at Dos Leyendas, unfortunately reminding people most (or all) of those matches will not actually happen.

IWRG’s mat no longer includes the Corona sponsorship. It disappeared last Sunday. IWRG used to get paid when that logo appeared on TV (which made it important for them to have TV.)  Losing that sponsorship money probably explains why there’s no Thursday shows at the moment. Hopefully they get it sorted out.

Negro Casas, Puma, Felino and Tiger want to be known as the Four Fantasticos and have a four finger hand signal. I don’t think that’ll catch on, but I can guess what they’ve been watching on YouTube.

Argenis has no problem with Argos joining Consejo, but attacking him way back when was not cool.

IWRG is selling a 2011 Jetta.

Video of Maximo, La Mascara, Flamita vs Hijo del Signo, Yago, and La Mancha on an street show.

Fuego en el Ring interviews Princesa Ahy Leen about the all women’s show.

CMLL (TUE) 01/28/2014 Arena Mexico
1) Fantasy & Pequeño Halcón vs Pequeño Nitro & Pequeño Olímpico
2) Flyer, Pegasso, Star Jr. vs Canelo Casas, Disturbio, Hechicero
3) Sagrado, Stigma, Stuka Jr. vs Cancerbero, Raziel, Vangellys
4) Atlantis, Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Negro Casas, Puma, Tiger and Black Panther, Blue Panther, Cachorro and Bárbaro Cavernario, Herodes Jr., Mr. Niebla [tournament]
5) Titán vs Virus [MEX WELTER]
Titan is champion. Second defense.

Nuevo Valores Martes continues to be interesting. Titan versus Virus would make the show alone, but there’s other good matches here. CMLL’s cut out random the one night tournaments, but that concept comes back here to possibly continue the Panther/Casas issue. Besides those two teams, and Reyes del Atlantida reuniting again, there’s an exciting team of Barbaro, Herodes and Mr. Niebla. Those three goofballs should work well together.

Flyer makes his Arena Mexico debut, with Star Jr. & Hechicero hanging around for another week. Not sure how much will make TV due to the tournament and title match; figure the minis match is probably not going to make it.

CMLL (TUE) 01/28/2014 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) Leo & Metatrón vs Akuma & Ráfaga
2) Dark Angel, Goya Kong, Silueta vs Amapola, Dalys, Zeuxis
3) Gallo vs Arkángel de la Muerte
4) Máximo, Super Porky, Valiente vs Misterioso Jr., Pierroth, Rey Escorpión
5) La Máscara, La Sombra, Rush vs Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto

The knockoff of Nuevo Valores Martes is Guadlajara shows should be a little bit stronger (when half the people aren’t in Japan.) Also, the Gallo/Arkangel feuds goes on.
