Veneno & Alan Extreme kept the titles, tecnicos took 2/3. Alan got Super Nova with a counter dropkick to win the third fall, though Nova was sure he got his shoulder up before three. First defense.
5) Hijo De Dos Caras, Lizmark Jr., Vampiro b Cien Caras Jr., Hijo de Máscara Año 2000, Pirata Morgan
Hijo de Dos’ debut here. Tecnicos took 2/3. Vampiro beat Cien Caras Jr. with a backcracker to get revenge for last week. This led to Pirata/Cien challenges somehow.
No word on how Dos was. This show may or may not air this week. No Thursday show this week; AAA TV taping instead. They’re back on Sunday.

Ghost Rider replaced Centinela, who was missing with the match started. Akanthus’ ribs cracked after a splash from the heavy Canelo Villela, and Centinela turned up to replace him.

A ceremony was held for Ari Romero Sr. after the fourth match. They played his music, had a minute of silence, then a minute of applause.
Tonight/tomorrow morning (2:30 AM CT) is the first FantasticaMania show. It’s one of two on iPPV; you can get it here. It’s the lesser of the two iPPVs with a lot of tag matches to build up singles matches later on; you probably should just wait until Tuesday evening and find out if it’s any good, not be up at an odd hour to watch this show. I am crazy, so I’ll have live coverage of some sort. (Results here, dumb comments on Twitter – I’ll save the chat for the Saturday show.)

A scheduled mask vs hair match this weekend in Arena Coliseo Reynosa was canceled because the promoter’s lease with the building ran out. It doesn’t sound like the promoter mentioned the problems, the building was just closed when people got there. The promoter isn’t quoted in the article, but the lucahdors talk about how much they really wanted to do the match, cut promos on each other, and hope things can be figured out next week or that they can take it over to another building.
