TxT turns out to only be one week this time around.

Thursday’s IWRG show has already started to show up in parts on LAS (& AYM). There’s the usual amount of random repeats the next few days.

I’ve been working on other things and have not watched any of this week’s TV. If there’s a hint I missed, let me know.

== AAA ==

AAA-Televisa: Three weeks of rerun programming. This has been Best of some years, and a straight repeat of TripleMania other years.

== CMLL ==

FOX: Volador Jr. vs Reapper and the Leyenda de Plata

52MX: Women’s Cibernetico, Negro vs Volador, and maybe Fuego/Gallo/Triton vs Raziel/Azteca/Okumura

C3: Atlantis/Mascara/Titan vs Averno/Mephisto/Escorpion

TVC Deportes (Puebla): Ultimo Guerrero vs Atlantis

Lucha Azteca: Roja/Reapper/UG vs Mistico/Titan/Volador

Terra Friday: Leyenda de Plata, Block B. Segunda could be good with Gen11/Triton vs Cancerbero/Razil/Sangre

Terra Sunday: Peste Negra vs Volador/Shocker/Mascara and Marcela versus Princesa Sugehit for the title. Only five matches on this show.

== Other ==

IWRG-AYM Sports: If it’s Sunday, it’s Gringos VIP versus Black Terry, Bombero Infernal, Dr. Cerbero for the local trios titles.

Noches de Coliseo: maybe the show from Sunday? Rico Rodriguez/Simbolo vs Neurosis/Simbolo

PENTAGON STRONG

Faby Apache, Jennifer Blake, Pimpinela Escarlata vs Mamba, Mary Apache, Taya Valkyrie: in which we learn Mamba has a finishing move. I’m pretty sure Mamba’s won before, on shows which no longer exist, but it’s been a while. Match was fine given everyone involved and this time they got. T finish felt like it meant something, always a plus. Jennifer had a good match and absolutely crushed Taya on her dive. Note Mary is part of the hair feud at this point.

Pentagon has had enough of Angelico’s sweep

Crazy Boy, Joe Lider, Niño Hamburguesa vs Eterno, Juventud Guerrera, Steve Pain: Good match between the two teams, with the rudos surprisingly winning clean. Crowd was way into the técnicos, who mostly wrestled a normal match and less their usual weapon style. Rudos set up the técnicos well and looked good themselves – Eterno’s run up the ropes moonsault seems as tricky as anything. I like the idea of this feud more than I thought.

Jack Evans

Angélico, Australian Suicide, Jack Evans vs Daga, Hijo de Pirata Morgan, Pentagón Jr.: Great. Really fun trios. Pentagon Jr. was great even when he wasn’t randomly pulling out Antonio Cesaro spots. Dropping hard on Angelico to break up his sweep sequence was superb, and all of his chops were killer. Pirata Morgan fit in this mix fine and worked great with Jack. The técnicos have their teamwork spots down and Jack makes everything great. Even the section of finisher turn taking near the end felt more like a fight than ritual turn taking and they got out at the right time. No complaints here.

A lot of Volador singles matches. CMLL must’ve thought turn would be a big attraction. It hasn’t seemed to work that way yet, though CMLL hasn’t helped themselves on that.

Heavy Metal won the Rock y Lucha championship last night in IWRG.

This  week’s TerceraCaida has highlights of the DTU & ChilangaMask shows. There’s also the post show interview with Texano, Mascara Ano 2000 Jr. (who’s left hand with his cast), and RCH promoter Ricky Castro. They’re back next week with the top 100 of 2013 countdown.

ChilangaMask announced a Freelance, Dinamic Black, Golden Magic, Zurdog, Mike Segura, Arez, Tornado and Latin Dragon Aerial Assault for it’s 03/23 show.

Noti AAA Facebook says the first three AAA tapings of the year are in Naucalpan, Toluca and Ecatepec. I have no idea if that is right but it sounds truth-y. AAA usually runs those three locations in the first couple months of the year.

I’ve updated the 2013 MOTYC list, with everything I’ve watched thru 11/30. More detailed thoughts will turn up…at some point.

Bill has highlights of IWRG 09/08/13.

Rob has highlights of CMLL 10/11/13.

Cronicas y Leyendas looks back at Vampiro & Pegasus Kid vs Texano & Silver King.

MedioTiempo looks back at June.

DJ Spectro has the fifth part of Ultraman and two surprise file downloads.

taped 2013-11-15 @ Arena Mexico
Ángel de Oro, Fuego, Stuka Jr. vs Misterioso Jr., Puma, Tiger: Good match which seemed on the short side. Angel de Oro struggled a bit at times and remains in his rut, but Tiger and Puma teaming still feels fresh and everyone else looked good. Liked how the finish was more complicated than usual.

Azul back suplex

Atlantis, Blue Panther, Diamante Azul vs Felino, Mr. Niebla, Pierroth: filler semimain where guys were just going thru their usual spots. The level should be higher on Fridays but there was nothing here of note at all. Pierroth is still bad. Diamante Azul looks like he enjoyed the french cuisine but may have not found the gyms.

Rush as Puma

La Máscara, La Sombra, Rush vs Negro Casas, Tama Tonga, Terrible: Another fun Negro Casas/Rush encounter, with the other guys just existing to give them breaks and occasionally play off of them. The spot with everyone stomping Rush in the corner was good, as was Rush’s increasing rudo antics. It’s hard to figure out in what way Rush is not yet a bad guy except his partners have not broken up with him yet – and this is the second or third time they’ve teased that happening. Giant Sombra and Terrible are another good matchup and hopefully will get another shot at each other in 2014.
