Fuego vs Shigeo Okumura in a lightning match: ordinary lightning match – técnico does a couple dives, lots of being flipped to the apron to set up spots, plenty of near falls no none thinks is going to work and then a sudden finish.
Blue Panther, Diamante Azul, Super Porky vs Euforia, Felino, Taichi: A Porky match. You’ve seen it. I have little to say about them. Crowd seemed to enjoy them (though maybe not as much as other matches.) I got totally distracted a few times during this match and had to rewind to watch it again, which made it feel everyone longer. I probably would have been less distracted if the match was more interesting.
Atlantis, La Máscara, Máximo vs Hiroshi Tanahashi, Pierroth, Terrible: Good build up to a match unfortunately canceled. Tanahashi of Mexico is not Tanahashi of Japan, but he does seem to a lot of fun playing the cartoon villain. Atlantis is basically a cartoon hero, so it kind of works. Really wish we got to see the match.
