Podcast coming…later. There are good stories. This picture figures into it.

1) Águila Egipcia & Camaleón b Akrón & Centauro de Fuego
Tecnicos took 1/3.
2) Milenium, Sensei, Soberano Jr. b Disturbio, Fuerza Chicana, Toro Bill Jr.
Tecnicos took 1/3. Toro Bill’s return (first match here since 2010), and he looked a little nervous at first.
3) Misterioso Jr., Sangre Azteca, Shigeo Okumura b Fuego, Rey Cometa, Tritón
Rudos took 1/3. Misterioso beat Trtiton.
4) Blue Panther, Shocker, Thunder b Namajague, Terrible, Vangellys
Blue Panther replaced Diamante Azul. Tecnicos took 1/3, Shocker beating Vangellys and Thunder pinning Namajague (who looked good against the giants.)
5) Euforia, Mr. Niebla, Volador Jr. b Máscara Dorada, Mistico, Valiente
Mr. Niebla replaced Negro Casas. Straight falls for Volador. He beat Mistico clean in the first, then pulled his mask and beat him in the second. Mistico wanted a singles match next week.

CMLL unveiled a new mural at Arena Mexico last night to honor 80 years of the promotion. It’s called “Dos de Tres Caidas Sin Limite De Tiempo”, and they held a press event with all the wrestlers in the promotion showing up for the unveiling. (Well, at least all the luchadors who showed up close to on time and weren’t in workout clothes.) Miguel Valverde is the artist behind the project, who says it took him three months to complete the project. He tried to represent as much of the 80 years as possible, though he feels it would’ve taken 1000 murals to include everything. Fans will be able to see the mural for the first time Friday night. Black Terry posted video and photos of the mural.

Konnan was on Wrestling Observer Radio. Among other things, he mentions they’re bringing in an Australian he thought was named “Brodrick.” As best I can figure, it’s the mystery gringo on upcoming shows, Australian Ryan Rollins. Rollins is a high flyer and has been posting about moving to Mexico lately. (I haven’t run into him yet.)
