Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Boby Zavala in a lightning match: A good solid lightning match. Not a lot in the way of highlights, and one messed up spot near the end removed via crowd shot, but everything worked and made a lot of sense. They weren’t trying to do anything out of the ordinary lightning match, which makes it hard to rate too high, but they did the normal match well.
Blue Panther, Titán, Valiente vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Felino, Mr. Niebla: A bit of Peste Negra comedy, a bit of the flyers flying, not a lot when put together. It was an okay match but nothing much stuck out (had trouble figuring out what to use as a gif). Tecnicos don’t particularly work well with what the rudos want to do and vice versa. There are times where Blue Panther looks his age, and the roll up reversal bit with Felino at the end was one of those times.
Atlantis, Diamante Azul, Mistico vs Averno, Gran Guerrero, Último Guerrero: Fine enough main event match, with Azul and Gran Guerrero limited to killing each other and everyone else looking fine. Not as much was asked out of Místico but he did well with what he did. Atlantis and Ultimo Guerrero have basically been having the same 4 minute match for months now; I don’t think that’ll upset the casual people who haven’t been watching all these matches when they do the same in their mask match (it didn’t bug the people here), but I wonder how many casual people will be there at those prices.
