Diamante vs Boby Zavala in a lightning match: Seemed quick even though it went five minutes. Maybe it’s because Diamante did the same dive twice. Nothing wrong but nothing memorable or much to say about this. Zavala did make Diamante’s hold look more deadly than usual.
Diamante Azul, Máscara Dorada, Mistico vs Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto: Okay routine match, just existing to make the técnicos look good. There’s a lot of very similar antics in Averno matches this week, this was the last one I watched in a big binge of TV, and they were wearing old by this point. (and I haven’t even watched Puebla!) There’s nothing that really separates the match outside of the nice triple dive. Crowd was into the action.
La Máscara, Rush, Titán vs Mr. Águila, Psicosis, Volador Jr.: About a normal main event with the surprising random title change thrown in. It didn’t feel they were going that way, or any particular way, during the match. At best, it felt like something to build up Mr. Aguila vs Rush and not something meaningful itself. Volador did the best job of playing off the rudos, which doesn’t help with the title match. Tecnicos were fine but didn’t feel like a team.
