La Máscara, Rush, Titán vs Kráneo, Mr. Águila, Psicosis: This is the best match of the feud! Too bad it was the first one. It’s also completely unrecognizable as part of a trio feud, since it was a lot of Mr. Aguila and Rush fighting to set up the cage match and nothing else. The other four did fine, but there was no sign they were setting up a title match here; Rush even had an opening to say he wanted the titles and didn’t bring it up. This was scheduled like it was a three week plan to set up the title change but I wonder if the luchadors were even aware it was planned at this point.
Máscara Dorada, Mistico, Valiente vs Euforia, Niebla Roja, Último Guerrero in the CMLL World Trios tournament final match: A good title win. They managed to win the crowd over by the end of the match, with the triple dive wowing the crowd in particular. There was a lot getting in the usual Guerrero spots forced in, but some good team work too. This is still a Místico project, but the other guys continue to get chances to look impressive too. This was a super memorable match, but it did the job.
