Two title changes in IWRG, Stukita out of CMLL?

IWRG (SUN) 07/07/2013 Arena Naucalpan [IWRG]
1) Araña de Plata & Fulgor b Freelance & Galaxie
2) Imposible b Astro Rey Jr., Dragón Celestial [IWRG IC Light]
Final survivors from a three way last week. Impossible submitted Astro Rey to win the title.
3) Dinamic Black, Dr. Cerebro, Freeyser DQ Apolo Estrada Jr., Oficial 911, Tomahawk
Tecnicos took straight falls, 911 fouling Dinamic Black in the second.
4) Fuerza Guerrera, Máscara Año 2000 Jr., X-Fly b Trauma I, Trauma II, Veneno
Rudos took 1/3, X-Fly taking Trauma I’s mask.
5) Solar I b Negro Navarro [FMLL MASTER]
Negro came in as champion, but Solar submitted him in a one fall match.

Solar held that title last we heard, so I guess it’s good he got it back. Impossible is good, so glad he won a title. So weird to have Freelance working the opener.

I was planning on posting WWL results from Sunday. They have them on their Facebook – but in the comments, people say the Wagners didn’t appear (listed in the results) and suggest other people didn’t show up and mention the result of the opener is wrong, so maybe I’ll hold off for a day. LuchaMania Monterrey will have the correct ones up soon enough.

A poster on Box Y Lucha has done a great job of putting together a list of lucha libre restaurants, shops and gyms in Mexico City, with street addresses and Facebook accounts where known. This is definitely worth bookmarking if you’re headed to Mexico and want to know where Super Astro is now at or where you can train with Starman.

The Arena Queretaro Facebook says AAA tapes in Queretaro on 08/16. There’s at least one unannounced taping between Xalapa in the middle of July and that show.

Jennifer Blake gets a shot at Faby Apache’s Reina de Reinas title in Arena Solidaridad this Sunday. The undercard is a tournament of promotions, and lists Stukita on the ex-CMLL team. He hasn’t been on a CMLL show since the end of April. It’s a shame if Stukita’s really gone from CMLL.

AAA interviews Los Reinas del Ring tonight on their weekly video interview.

Pompin talks about his career – he wanted to be a luchador but Santo thought he’d last longer as a referee – and his invitation to join the Cuban revolution.

Rob has extended highlights of Turbo.

Canek was the unadvertised surprised. Psycho Circus still won, Psycho Clown frog splashing Silver King.

Air Date: 07/20? The week after Leon.

Tecnicos won every match and nothing much happened (no offense to the Mexican Powers.) This location seemed like a Fusion taping when the location was announced. It still kind of feels that way after the show, and adding a match means they could easily send two matches to Fusion and air the rest on Televisa/UTDN. Matches still look good, tercera should be a lot of fun.
