05/26 AAA Fusion Lineup (Tultitlan)

AAA Fusion (SUN) 05/26/2013 Deportivo Toltitlan, Tultitlan, Estado de Mexico
1) Flamita, Gotita De Plata, Saturno vs Carta Brava Jr., Danny Casas, Eterno
2) Chica Ye-Ye & Pasion Kristal vs Mamba & Yuriko
3) Dinastía & Máscarita Divina vs Mini Abismo Negro & Mini Charly Manson
4) Alebrije, Espíritu, Súper Fly vs Devil Rocker, Machine Rocker, Soul Rocker
5) Crazy Boy & Joe Lider vs Halloween & Psicosis
6) Cibernético & El Mesías vs Chessman & Parka Negra

Air Date: 05/30 and 06/06 (and 06/13 if they stretch things out.) That means they’ll be pulling from other tapings for 05/23, but that’s the last week of that for now.

First Fusion branded taping since 04/06. This will be 3 tapings in 9 days starting Friday, and 4 tapings in 2 weeks going back to Sunday. If Evolucion, Fusion, and Sin Limite will all be separate TV show with separate tapings for each two weeks of TV, they’re going to need about six tapings a month and stretches like this will be the norm. It’s still not totally clear that’s what’s going on so we’ll just find out together.

This is possibly the last Fusion taping for Cibernetico, Mesias, Chessman, Halloween, Psicosis, Espiritu, Mini Abismo Negro, Mini Charly Manson, Mamba and Yuriko, who are all on the Evolucion brand.  They could squeeze in one more taping before TripleMania.

They’ve done that Mexican Powers vs Perros del Mal match so many times. The Perros members change around, but it’s the same match. But I guess it’s over after the split?

Minis match may be a MOTYC.

Chica Ye-Ye is an exotico who’s worked in DTU a lot. There’s a Gotita de Plata in Hidalgo. He’s 14 or 15. A Gotita de Plata was in QPPLC last year – I think it was this teenager and he’ll be on TV, but it’d be amazing for a guy that young to make it that far. If it IS the 14-15 year old, someone needs to interview him to ask how he made it to the big show before he can even drive. (And Arturo Cruz probably will.)  That’s a very young tecnico trio.

The (maybe) Cadetes del Aire have beat the Revolucinarios and the sort-of-Avernos, and have lost to the Guerreros and TRT.

CMLL (TUE) 05/14/2013 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [@acogdl]
1) Demonio Maya & Sádico b Bengala & Robin
Local GDL rudos beat DF tecnicos in 1/3.
2) Disturbio b Sky Kid
Possibly a lightning match. Disturbio won via crab.
3) Bárbaro Cavernario, Namajague, Shigeo Okumura b Gallo, Rey Cometa, Tritón
Rudos took 1/3, Namajague sneaking in a foul on Rey Cometa.
4) Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr., La Máscara b Felino, Misterioso Jr., Olímpico
Tecnicos took 1/3, Mascara pinning Felino with a casita.
5) La Sombra, Máximo, Rush b Negro Casas, Shinsuke Nakamura, Volador Jr.
Tecnicos took 2/3, Maximo kiss of death to Volador for the win

AAA held a press conference in Puebla to hype Friday’s taping. Texano Jr. and Chessman insisted they are fighting each other, and only each other, in the title match at TripleMania. No fooling! They noted at the press conference that this will be Lucky Boy’s return to his hometown. I’d say he’d do something crazy for the occasion, but he always does something crazy. Texano and Chessman also did an autograph signing.

An AAA article on the La Parka/Villano IV argument has Parka saying V4 is bringing in his brothers for the TripleMania match. Parka is picking Octagon as a partner but does not say the third man. This seems like a nice match to stretch your legs.

WWL announced Mil Mascaras, Sicodelico Jr., Blue Demon Jr., Bobby Lashley, and John Morrison for it’s upcoming tour, which includes a 07/07 show in Monterrey. It’s unspecified if those guys will be working all the dates (08/02, 08/04 in Texas, 10/26 in Puerto Rico), though LuchaMania thinks so. I think so to after reading that.

IWL says their TV show will debut on 8pm on Sunday on TVC Deportes. That’s the IWRG slot, but IWRG has been missing the last few week. This must be one of the periodic falling out between TVC and IWRG.

Tercera Caida is on today at 9pm with Aerostar, Billy el Malo, Crazy Boy and Rey Bucanero. It follows AAA Fusion, which should have the remaining matches from Fusion.

Azteca has put up the “Las Reinas del Ring” of their “Historia detra del Mito” show, with appearances from luchadoras.

NJPW announced their annual G1 tournament will take place from August 1 to August 11, which means someone from CMLL is probably heading over during that time. Since everyone only does a league tournament once and Rush and Sombra has already gone, it’s most likely Terrible’s turn.

Lineups

CMLL (TUE) 05/21/2013 Arena Mexico
1) Fresbee & Magnus vs Espanto Jr. & Herodes Jr.
2) Lady Afrodita, Lluvia, Luna Mágica vs Amapola, Mima Shimoda, Tiffany

6) Valiente vs Sangre Azteca [En Busca de un Idolo]
first match for both
7) Diamante Azul, Mistico, Thunder vs Rey Bucanero, Terrible, Tiger
Blue Panther was announced, but replaced within hours by Thunder

You have two days left to make your En Busca de un Idolo picks. TWO DAYS.

Lluvia had knee surgery last fall; I hope Reggie Rose approved her return. Does Lluvia’s return improve the CMLL women? She was not much good when she left, but she was also dragging around a bad knee which seemed to be affecting her training. She may be the best person on her (Fuerza L!) team. It’s not a good thing to be having this discussion.

Bala, Pegasso and Sagrado should just all wear Tigre Metalico masks to make Signo feel more at home.

Magnus must only be working the opener because he’s main eventing a show across town. Got to get him on the road early.

Rey del Ring! Rey del Ring possibly happening near live on my TV. I may have to go off Twitter to avoid spoilers (but then somehow still tweet out live reactions myself to overwhelm your timeline.)
