An indy group posted results from their own show! I am so thrilled. It’s the little things.

5) Rayo de Jalisco Jr. b Universo 2000
Javier Cruz Jr. was Rayo de Jalisco’s second. Rayo took the first, Universo took the second, and Rayo took the third due to a distrection.

LuchaWorld explains down the Mascairta Dorada to WWE rumor, and it seems not to be rumor but actual fact; the WON mentioned a Mexican mini was training with WWE, and Dorada says he’s in FCW. No one’s quite sure what they’ve got planned for him (assuming there is a plan.)

CMLL.com posted a Harlem Shake video to promote the Arena Coliseo Anniversario show. (LuchaWorld IDs everyone.) This would’ve been funnier before the Harlem Shake videos died.

Silencio kept the Arena el Jaguar championship (defended in Arena Coliseo Monterrey) over his brother Simbolo Sunday. Match was said to be very good.

Porra Fresa misses the Stigma vs Bobby Zavala feud. The Arena Coliseo Tag Titles need to go Namajague/Okumura to Super Halcon/Hombre Bala to Disturbio/Zavala, and then they can feud with Stigma and, let’s say, Asturiano. Everything solved.

Shocker tried this with Blue Panther and Brazo de Plata back in January. I think he’s got a slightly better shot this time. Lightning match probably won’t air.

LyC (THU) 03/21/2013 Arena Coliseo Monterrey
1) Legendario I, Legendario II, Legendario III vs Dranser, Misionerio, Scravos
2) Dralion vs Galactar, Slayer Boy, Rey Orion, Epidemius, Gato Fantasma [Copa Cruceros, final]
3) Hijo de Pirata Morgan & Pirata Morgan Jr. vs Gemelo Muerte I & Gemelo Muerte II
4) Sicodélico Jr. vs Chico Latino, Genocida [Zero One Mexico CHAMP]
Sicodelico is champion.
5) Dr. Wagner Jr. & Máscara Púrpura vs Konnan Big & Rico Rodriguez

Main event is billed as an epic first time encounter, though Wagner did face Konnan Plus back in 2003. It’s still epic.

I spend way too much time checking to see if Zero One Mexico is a real group. It is, everyone wrote about it back in September when it was announced. There’s not been much follow up, because Zero One Mexico seems to be running shows in Texas. Close!

  1. Wondering if the Rayo/Universo match helped GDL attendances or not…in other words was the 2nd appearance still a worthwhile investment?

Maybe Mascarita will become Mini Sin Cara to help save what many people consider a lackluster run, like a mascot ala Doink & Dink and help sell it to the children again when Sin Cara is able to come back and “relaunch”

  2. Poor Aerostar can’t even make movie premiers.

They could use Mascarita as calling him the smallest athlete in the world, to contrast Big Show. Hopefully they have an idea of what to do with him.

  3. I really hope Mesias and Jennifer Blake went to the premiere together. That would be awesome
