2) Magnus, Metálico, Soberano Jr. b Apocalipsis, Artillero, Inquisidor
Tecnicos took 2/3.
3) Diamante, Sagrado, Starman b Cancerbero, Nitro, Raziel
Straight falls for the tecnicos. No mention of Tuareg/Cancerbero problems but they should be assumed.
Okumura & Cometa broke up.
9) La Sombra & Mr. Águila DQ Terrible & Thunder [torneo increible de parejas, quarterfinal]
Terrible went crazy, fouling Thunder and pulling Sombra’s mask.
10) Atlantis & Volador Jr. b La Sombra & Mr. Águila [torneo increible de parejas, semifinal]
Atlantis & Volador face next week’s winner on 04/01

No mention of the opener, Porra Fresa should have it later. The next eight teams are listed down in the lineups, but you should have a 50/50 bet on guessing the most likely other finalst based on Atlantis/Volador advancing and Sombra being out.

Tickets for TripleMania are running from 120 MP ($9.70USD) to 1400 MP ($113USD) for ringside. That’s about twice the price of last weekend’s events.  About 1/4 of the arena is currently not on sale to make room for entrance sets and cameras, but those may go back on sale once they get closer to the show. Plenty of other tickets are still available, but tickets are usually sold here until much closer to the event.

SuperLuchas #503 has Rey de Reyes and Villano V farewell show results. The banner on the top says “10 Years Of SuperLuchas” and there’s a story called End of an Era. SuperLuchas is going on hiatus for a couple weeks after this issue, and it may not be coming back from that hiatus. This isn’t officially announced as the final SuperLuchas issue, because there’s still some hope it’ll be back in April, but it may turn out that way and there will be changes if it returns. The magazine will be missed.

Princesa Blanca beat Dalys La Caribena in Dalys’ home country of Panama by disqualification. There was a rudo referee in the match, and Dalys attacked him after too many slow counts. An odd finish for a return home match. There was a a lot of rudo ref spots on the show.

Promotion Danger Zone ran a charity show at Arena Lopez Mateos on Saturday.

Freseero Jr., Alex Guajardo, and Eita beat Low Rider, Cerbero Negro and Astro Latino in San Luis Potosi on some unclear day.

Lineup

IWRG (THU) 03/21/2013 Arena Naucalpan
1) Seiya vs Fulgore
2) Chico Che, Saruman, Suicida vs Eita, Imposible, Tomahawk
3) Ek Balam, Oro Negro, Silver King Jr. vs Centvrión, Freyser, Golden Magic
4) Trauma I, Trauma II, Veneno vs Carta Brava Jr., Eterno, X-Fly
5) Dinamic Black vs Fenix (AAA) [IWRG IC WELTER]
Dinamic Black is champion, going for second defense

That’s quite a main event. AAA is taping here the following Thursday, perhaps something will come from this main event.

Ek Balam is the guy who used to be the unnamed ski mask wearing big guy with the Perros del Mal. That’s another FILL vs Silver King battle. High Power Cibernetico figured to be next Tuesday.

CMLL (MON) 03/25/2013 Arena Puebla
1) Asturiano & Milenium vs Akron & Blue Center
2) Camaleón & Stigma vs Artillero & Taurus
3) Cancerbero, Raziel, Virus vs Hooligan, Nitro, Skándalo
4) Mistico & Último Guerrero vs Diamante Azul & Psicosis and Euforia & Rush and Dragón Rojo Jr. & La Máscara and Namajague & Stuka Jr. and Rey Bucanero & Shocker and Máximo & Mephisto and Felino & Hijo del Fantasma [Relevos Increíbles, tournament]

This turns out to be a three week tournament, exactly like the Arena Mexico one. Mistico & Ultimo Guerrero are quite obviously winning this half, so it’ll be three of the same four guys as the last tournament. You can argue for some other teams, but they’d still be a shock – the only way Mistico’s not winning this half is if the Puebla curse strikes him down again. Namajague is still around, and he and Okumura are still running into Stuka & Cometa.

It didn’t even occur to me yesterday, but Rey Bucanero is listed as working on Sunday’s Coliseo show and this show. They’ve advertised him and pulled him back before, but he’s been talking about returning very soon on TV so this time may be it.
