In Memoriam & Evola replaced Relampago Azul & Thunder Boy. Tecnicos took 2/3.

Mr. Trueno replaced Infierno. Tecnicos took 1/3.
4) Marcela & Silueta b La Vaquerita & Zeuxis

5) Bárbaro Cavernario, Namajague, Shigeo Okumura b Gallo, Hijo del Fantasma, Rey Cometa
Rudos took 1/3. Okumura snuck in a foul on Cometa.

Video of the Rey de Reyes finish. Whatever they were trying at the 2 minute mark just seemed to hurt a lot. LuchaMania Monterrey estimates the crowd at 9,000 and 10,000. It’s not visible in a lot of the pictures, but they did have to cut a significant chunk of the building off for the entrance set. Still a really good number, it’s their biggest non-TripleMania attendance in a while.

Brazo de Plata, Maximo, Atlantis and Blue Panther return to Arena Coliseo Monterrey in April 14.

There’s a lucha expo in Campeche.

  1. I was wondering if AAA Revolution was considered but because of PWR in California, they came up with Evolution instead?

  2. That video does look painful. Those guys are too big to be doing moves for guys 30 pounds lighter.

  3. “Mascara Dorada replaces Atlantis on Tuesday in Arena Mexico.”

Also the rudo team changed from Triad Del Terror to Efesto, Euforia & Niebla Roja.

  4. CMLL Mini Extravaganza on the Fight Network last night was:

    Show 1:

    2010-06-06 Arena Mexico 1 of 6: Demus 3:16 & Pierrothito b Bam Bam & Shockercito *

A rare tag team match for the minis, in the end Shockercito took a bad spill to the floor on his head after Pierrothito launched him for a monkey flip from the apron, and Demus barely caught him in time, for the rudo sweep. Entrances still had Demus listed as Pequeno Damian on the video screens even though he was announced as Demus.

    Show 2 was:

2011-02-04 Arena Mexico 2 of 6: Pequeño Olímpico, Pequeño Warrior, Pierrothito b Pequeño Maximo, Shockercito, Último Dragoncito

Lots of good chain wrestling and mixing it up between all competitors, heavy on the comedy when Mini Maximo was in there much to the fans delight. Rare (for me at least) to see Dragoncito submitting/losing.
