Dark Angel vs Princesa Blanca in a lightning match: really good match, with lots of action and really not in a formulaic. Blanca just controlled the second half of the match until Dark Angel was finally able to get in her springboard dropkick, and then it was counters until the finish. The running powerbomb here looked massive, and Dark Angel had a great suplex in the first half of the match. I don’t know if it’s possible for a lightning match to make the roundup because they’re not nearly as long as other matches, but this was as good as any on one of them they’ve done.
Ángel de Oro, Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Averno, Black Warrior, Negro Casas: seemed like this might be good in the first fall, but even the second fall seemed abrupt to end, and the third fall was nothing at all. Old rudos destroy young técnicos for no particular reason.
Máscara Dorada, Shocker, Valiente vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Pólvora, Rey Escorpión: good build up to Valiente’s title match next week, especially the finish. The match itself was not smooth at times, and Shocker seems like a guy way out of place with the style they’re doing in 2013, but it was still an enjoyable match.
