1) Sensei & Soberano Jr. b Camorra & Guerrero Negro Jr.
Tecnicos took fall 1/3 in a match taped for Fox Sports. Announcers called the ending cold.
2) Arkángel de la Muerte, Nitro, Skándalo b Fuego, Hombre Bala Jr., Super Halcón Jr.
Tuareg have new music. Rudos won 2/3, with a Skandalo Driver on Hombre Bala Jr. in the last.
3) Dark Angel, Estrellita, Marcela b Amapola, Princesa Blanca, Princesa Sugheit
Rudas jumped Estrellita before the match, and were DQed while beating her up in the second. Marcela & Dark Angel beat the Princesas in the second for the sweep.

Eliminations went Sagrado (by Tiger, 7:15), Stuka (by Namajague, 10:20), Tiger (by Titan, 11:44), Namajague (by Rey Cometa, 13:00), by Hijo del Fantasma (by Polvora, 13:58), Felino (by La Mascara, 14:29), Rey Cometa (by Euforia, 15:40), Delta (by Dragon Rojo, 17:00), Mr. Aguila (by La Sombra, 20:28), Polvora (by Titan, 24:16), Euforia (by La Mascara, 25:44), Titan (by Averno, 27:00), La Mascara & Dragon Rojo drew on a DDQ (30:44) and Sombra beat Averno in 37:12. Sombra faces next week’s winner.
5) Máximo, Rush, Shocker b Mephisto, Terrible, Último Guerrero
Atlantis, guest announcing, was attacked by Ultimo Guerrero. (That feud is suddenly back on.)

Namajague was taken to the hospital with a head or brain injury. Judging from the pictures, he landed on his head while taking Rey Cometa’s running Spanish Fly. No update on his status yet. Rey Cometa was also hurt on his elimination, only everyone was taking care of Namajague and Cometa was left to lay on the floor for a while. Nothing on him either.

On the radio broadcast, Rey Bucanero said he’d be out another two weeks. The opener and the Reyes del Aire is starting the main event.

The El Luchador TV show says they’ve been picked up by MTV Tr3s in the United States. No word as to a start date.

Highlights of Cerebro Negro vs Dinamic Black and Mr. Leo vs Centvrion vs Alan Extreme, which weren’t taped for TV but Black Terry Jr. is selling on his site. There’s also a promo with Eterno & Carta Brava hyping their upcoming appearance in Tijuana.

A couple pictures from the ex-WWE show in Tuxtla Guiterrez. Didn’t seem to draw well.

5) Atlantis, Rush, Shocker vs Terrible, Tiger, Último Guerrero

Video promo for the show. CMLL just did a rudo vs rudo singles match, so a tecnico vs tecnico Reyes del Aire final is not out of the question. Volador’s the heavy favorite, but Dorada, Valiente, Oro and Mephisto all have at least a shot of making it to the final.

Rey Cometa & Namajague is listed on the show, but that’s subject to change. That match is interesting as listed; I think it’s possible the plan is not for Stuka vs Namajague, but maybe Stuka & Rey Cometa vs Namajague & Okumura.

Women get the week off.

7) Cíclope & Perro Mocho Jr. vs Aeroboy & Violento Jack and Drastik Boy & Pesadilla

Poster here. The stipulation for the main event is the ring will have no mat and instead will just be wood. I’m not sure why you’d want to do that, except that must’ve been what they did in the match Violento Jack & Aero Boy did in Japan and that’s usually reason enough.

  1. Tonight’s CMLL on Galavision Main Event was so awesome. One of the best CMLL matches of the year!

  2. The wooden ring/no mat thing is a Jun Kasai “invention”. Supposed to be more dangerous to get dropped on (which realistically, it is).

  3. Kasai invented the match but the first time it was used was during a Brahman Brother’s 6-man in Michinoku where they just tore the ring apart during the match and wrestled around it.
