Leono, Metatrón, Tigre Blanco vs Bobby Zavala, Disturbio, Taurus: Fine enough build up to the feud, though I’m uncertain at this point as how it’ll go. Leono is better than he was in ’07-’08, but he may still not be good. Zavala & Disturbio came off as solid rudos here and Tigre Blanco will give it what he’s got left, but this match got more over the personalities than the possible match.

Diamante, Hijo del Fantasma, Sagrado vs Hijo del Signo, Sangre Azteca, Vangelis: clumsy and hesitant at times, low energy most of the way thru. A very skippable match, since the guys in it seemed to be doing that.

Euforia, Niebla Roja, Último Guerrero vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Pólvora, Rey Escorpión: finally, one of these matches will crack the list! These guys went at a hard and intense pace from the get go and never slowed down, and I could not figure how they would manage to keep it up for as long as this match was supposed to go according to file’s time, but it turns out they ended right about when they should. Euforia looked awesome, UG and Rey Escorpion have great company, and everyone else as good. Easy recommendation, one of those matches where it’s a shame they didn’t have it on a bigger show so it’d be remembered better. 3 days later and it’d make a big difference.

Dragón Rojo Jr. vs Euforia: this was not smooth – both guys were looking tired from the previous match and the brawl after – but they did they tried and that’s more effort than you’d normally get in this situation.

Tama Tonga & Terrible vs La Máscara & Valiente for the CMLL World Tag Team Championship: really wasn’t a lot. Not sure it’s Terrible’s late arrival to blame, because short early falls are pretty standard here, but it felt like they only got the match really going midway into the third fall and there wasn’t enough there make it great. Not enough of Valiente. Still, the booking here was pretty solid – if Terrible & Tama were going to keep the titles and Tama had a big match left, then it made a lot of sense to give him the big wins.
