Fuego vs Namajague in a lightning match: Good match with some hiccups; the more interesting parts of their offenses seemed shelved after the early armdrag went wrong. The finish too was odd, like they were more interested in trying a spot they\’ve seen on TV than to do anything people might expect from them. Still was a fine match, just not the one I desired.
Blue Panther, Hijo del Fantasma, Rey Cometa vs Kráneo, Mr. Águila, Olímpico: fun match. Pace as good, surprise finish in the second match was nicely done, mascots fought well! Fantasma might be a good trios wrestler in search of a team, he seems better than average at working team spots (or maybe he\’s just teaming with Panther a hundred times by now.)
La Sombra, Marco Corleone, Máscara Dorada vs Tama Tonga, Terrible, Tiger: another fine match. It was more off everyone doing their usual spots business, but they looked good doing those spots. Sombra and Terrible didn\’t match up a great amount here but looked interesting when they did. Tigre still comes off as a chump but did well taking Dorada\’s offense.
Hi! Thanks for giving all of us out there in internet-land a way to keep up with what\’s going on in lucha, and especially for taking the time and effort to produce those great animated GIFs. Love \’em, love sharing \’em, and thought I should just say thanks. (I do miss your informative and sometimes hilarious captions for the GIFs, though! Those helped me learn who\’s who, what moves are what, and sometimes just amused me. Ha!)
