Masarita Sagrada (and more Dark Dragon) nutiness)

Argenis, Mascarita Sagrada, Pimpinela Escarlata vs Dark Dragon, Mini Charly Manson, Pasion Kristal: A Dark Dragon showcase, even if it was not actually meant to be one. He looked stellar setting up Sagrada & Argenis’ moves, he had a couple great spots of his own, and he had has much personality as anyone but Pimpi here. The idea was to give the técnicos a win so the rudos could get heat beating them up, but the reality was their really good rudo looked good again.

ouch

El Mesías, Electroshock, Joe Lider vs Máscara Año 2000 Jr., Texano Jr., Toscano: Finish here was 100% inexplicable with everything that lead up to it. They spent half of this show explaining how Texano’s win over Mesías really shouldn’t count at all, then Mesías beats Texano perfectly clean with absolutely no doubt, and then we’re supposed to care about a title match between the two? Or any match between the two? I have no idea why anyone would care.

Dark Dragon is a weapon of mass destruction

The only thing I can figure is they’re going to make the point that Texano can win with help with Dorian and Konnan. That’s not much of a way to build a new star (if they actually feel that way about him), and it doesn’t help that story to have Texano lose. If Mesías absolutely had to get a win (and I don’t know why), there were two other people to pin. If Texano absolutely had to lose (and I don’t know why), then the clowns or the even guys from the opener could’ve played a part. This finish was plain dumb, and so obviously dumb that there must be a heck of a story to explain it. The story wouldn’t help things, but nothing they did here will help. Also, Electroshock bled a lot to set up – uhhhhhh. I dunno. Turning Mascara Ano 2000 Jr. in to Nuevo Abdullah the Butcher is not something I can say I anticipated. (Crowd did enjoy the match.)

just watch Toscano
