Terrible vs Sombra (twice), Puebla TV note

CMLL (SUN) 11/25/2012 Arena Coliseo [CMLL]
1) Camorra & Ramstein b Bengala & Robin
Rudos took 2/3.
2) Leono, Metálico, Oro Jr. b Espanto Jr., Herodes Jr., Taurus
Tecnicos took 1/3.
3) Sangre Azteca, Skándalo, Virus DQ Fuego, Hombre Bala Jr., Super Halcón Jr.
Straight falls with the usual Cancerbero/Tuareg issues. Halcon reversed out of the Skandalo Driver with help, Raziel ran in for the DQ, and Virus took Skandalo’s mask. Sangre tried to stay out of it, but talked Virus out of attacking Isis.
4) Sagrado b Vangelis [lightning]
Sagrado won in 7:51 via Devil’s Wings.
5) Felino, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas b Ángel de Oro, Blue Panther, Rey Cometa
Mr. Niebla’s return match here. Rudos hugged referee Rafael el Maya, who turned 68 today. He did not appear to want the hugs. Rudos took 1/3 in a very Pesta Negra match. Negro submitted Panther with a sharpshooter.
6) La Máscara, La Sombra, Titán b Dragón Rojo Jr., Rey Escorpión, Terrible
Tecnicos took 2/3, Sombra small packaging Terrible in the third. Sombra wasted no time challenging for Terrible’s title, and Terrible accepted for next week.

Terrible and Sombra are already scheduled to face off in Puebla tomorrow night. That one’s non-title.

Blue Demon and Mesias went to a draw in Tijuana.

AAA’s press conference for Guerra de Titanes is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. Maybe we’ll find out some of the mystery people?

SuperLuchas #490 has the Guerra de Titanes main event, a Survivor Series report, and Azul & Rush in Japan, provided I looked at the right cover this week.

Luchas 2000 #648 has the same GdT main event, but also a tease of a Factor, Pirata Jr., Oficial 911, and Hijo de Mascara Ano 2000 cage match loser loses a mask (at least that’s what I assume a Prison Fatal is.) That is either a change of plans or a big spoiler for next Sunday.

Segunda Caida’s Eric watches last week’s Puebla. This week’s was a rerun (maybe still worth watching – and worth taping for me since it was two matches I didn’t have up complete), but it did have two matches I didn’t have complete on YouTube. It is interesting that the Mistico injury week didn’t air, though I’m not sure if this is a plan or a semi-happy accident. There was still enough material for a two hour show from Puebla even if they cut out the main event.

I enjoyed the Santo & Demon promos from this week’s Tercera Caida

Lucha y Tinta Libre looks at Super Crazy’s career.

An interview with a mask maker in Satillo.

Lucha Libre in Japan

11/25 REINA: Leon b Amapola (c) for the REINA CMLL International Championship
Leon took falls 1/3 to win back her title, the last with a frog splash.

11/25 NJPW: Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr. [O] b Rush & Diamante Azul [X]
Rush & Azul are 2-2, 4 points, still in the big tie for second. Their next match is Tuesday, versus Strong Man and Nakanishi. Note that Azul is taking the pins and Rush is getting the wins.

5) Marcela vs Ludark Shaitan [XMW WOMEN]
new championship?
6) Hijo del Fantasma vs Dance BoyTerremoto [DF LH]
Hijo del Fantasma is the champion.

Hijo del Fantasma’s first known defense, or at least an attempt at it. The XMW crowd didn’t seem to like Averno on the last show, but maybe Fantasma will work out better in a different context? Rooting for Ludark to avoid CMLL having another title – heck, rooting for Dance Boy and Terremoto while I’m at it.

The press release doesn’t actually mention the name of the building.

CMLL (SAT) 12/15/2012 Cancha German Evers

Benefit show for local referee Shaggy. I completely support the local Relampago over the ex-AAA one

***Hector Garza benefit show***
1) Adam Larson, Diva Salvaje, Senki b AJ Larocque, Black Thunder, El Seminarista
AJ (last named spelled Larroque in the official results) is the winner of the AAA tryout in Canada. Larson is an unknown.
2) Celestial, Douki, Sexy Lady b Cósmico, Hanaoka, Ludark Shaitan
3) Impulso, Terremoto Negro, Tornado b Belial, Fly Metalik, Mr. Leo
match of XMW luchadors. Money thrown in the ring.
4) Flamita & Rocky Lobo b Lucky Boy & Niño de Ébano and Eita & Lancelot
match of DTU luchadors. Money thrown in the ring.
5) Máscara Año 2000 Jr., Texano, Toscano b Daga, Halloween, Hijo del Lizmark
Lizmark and Daga replaced the Traumas. Toscano had problems with his teammates.
6) Chessman, el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Psicosis b Cibernético, Cuervo, Joe Lider
Perro used a ref distraction to foul Cibernetico for the win. Psicosis and Lider destroyed each other and was strechered out.

Air Date: 12/05 and 12/12? Not sure how this will work, but it won’t air until after Guerra de Titanes. This is being taped for Fusion, but looks like an Perros del Mal production.

Garza did not appear on the show, said to be due to his medical treatments. Attendance looked good.

Perros del Mal did mention Daga and Hijo del Lizmark would be this card on Friday, but didn’t mention the part about him subbing for the Traumas. The card wasn’t announced besides the top two matches, so it sounded at the time like they were working other matches. I don’t know, but I’d guess they were pulled off this show for opting out of the last one.
