5) Factor & Oficial 911 b Hijo de Máscara Año 2000 & Hijo de Pirata Morgan [Relevos Increíbles]
Straight falls. 911 and Factor won the first, Juniors rallied in the second. Pirata pinned 911 with a backcracker, 911 claimed a back injury, and the refs were looking the wrong way when Factor dropped Pirata with a martinete for a pin. 911 pulled off Pirata’s mask for good measure. Factor pinned Mascara to get the win.

This week’s SuperLuchas mentions a benefit show for Yuriko. The AAA exotico had an operation on his gallbladder on 10/01 and will be out until October.

The ICHIBAN show this past Wednesday include a women’s match interrupted by a Big Mama vs Muneca de Plata dance off and later by an attack of zombies. Black Terry Jr. has photos here. [result box]

Mazambula, a Tijuana rudo since at least the mid 90s, was unmasked by Galeno in a cage match on Friday. He’s José Torres Santiago,  a 20 years luchador. [result box]

Texano explains the Consejo are now allying with the other rudos because working with Dorian Roldan can play great dividends. Words to live by. (It’d be nice if they had explained this on TV before Konnan showed up helping Texano.)

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.

Lineup

CMLL (SUN) 11/11/2012 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) El Tapatío vs El Hippie
2) Brillante & Indigo vs Demonio Rojo & Thunder Boy
3) Esfinge & Halcón de Plata vs Mr. Trueno & Rey Trueno
4) Eros & Leo vs In Memoriam & Infierno
5) Ángel de Oro, Stuka Jr., Triton vs Misterioso Jr., Mr. Águila, Niebla Roja

Mr. Aguila still exists! The ACG twitter hyped a hair/mask vs hair/mask match for next Sunday (11/18), but didn’t list the match. I presume it’s a rematch of the semimain.

CMLL (SUN) 11/11/2012 Arena Mexico
1) Metálico, Metatrón, Molotov vs Espanto Jr., Guerrero Negro Jr., Herodes Jr.
2) Goya Kong, Lady Afrodita, Luna Mágica vs Amapola, Mima Shimoda, Zeuxis
3) Pegasso, Sagrado, Starman vs Cancerbero, Hijo del Signo, Raziel
4) Máscara Dorada vs Pólvora [CMLL WELTER]
Mascara Dorada is champion
5) Shocker, Super Porky, Valiente vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Rey Escorpión, Volador Jr.
6) Diamante Azul vs Tama Tonga

This is probably Tonga’s last match in or near to last. Big match for both guys, probably a lot different than the Volador/Azul match (because only Volador can be Volador.)

Mascara Dorada is the solid favorite, but the actual drama is if Polvora can keep his unlikely great title match streak going. This wouldn’t be a thing if he wasn’t so bad in the En Busca de un Idolo tournament; maybe he just doesn’t like Tirantes judging him?

Opening 3M team should really be sponsored by someone, but who?

IWRG (SUN) 11/11/2012 Arena Naucalpan
1) ? vs ??
2) Johnny Rivera & Serpiente de Oro vs Araña de Plata & Epidemia
3) Dinamic Black vs Relámpago, Golden Magic, Carta Brava Jr., Cerebro Negro, Dr. Cerebro, Canis Lupus, Alan Extreme [WWS WELTER]
4) La Cobra, Trauma II, Veneno vs El Hijo del Solitario, Oficial AK47, Tóxico
5) el Ángel, Hijo de Pirata Morgan, Pantera, Trauma I vs Bestia 666, Damián 666, Factor, Oficial 911

Chicano was last champion, but hasn’t been seen since a 09/25 FILL show when he was feuding with Eterno.  Canis Lupus hasn’t been seen since March, but I’m sure he’s impressed the WWS championship committee in some fashion to get in this tournament. It’s probably single elimination match, but whatever the format, there are going to be really good matches out of it.

Card is subject to change; Solitario is not working this show after he didn’t work last night’s.
