Blue Panther, La Sombra, Prince Devitt vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Mr. Águila, Taichi: odd to have Dragon Rojo spend the whole match running from Prince Devitt when the match is supposed to make Rojo look like a competent contender. Other parts of the match were more interesting and the match was overall fine. Aguila could’ve used some better partners.
La Máscara, Máximo, Rush vs Rey Bucanero, Terrible, Último Guerrero: Maybe I’m overreading into things, but this kind of felt like a test run for switching sides here. Rush was overtly rudo most of the match, and they inverted behavior so it was Terrible wanting the fighting and Rush running for it. Crowd did not seem as strongly behind Terrible as last week, but nothing is going to compare the noise of that crowd any time soon. Match itself was usual CMLL main event OK but not memorable.
