gravity betrays Astral

Astral, Pequeño Halcón, Último Dragoncito vs Pequeño Nitro, Pequeño Olímpico, Pequeño Warrior 2: match reached horrible for about a fall and a half. The rest was competent but never good, and definitely not enough to make up for it. This match literally had guys walking thru it, it was that sort of encounter. Astral was not walking, had a rough night on his own.

Luna Magica

Estrellita, Lady Afrodita, Luna Mágica vs La Comandante, La Seductora, Lady Apache : not as full of horrible moments which could easily be show in gif form as the one a few weeks ago, but still a bad match for lesser reasons. The only way this could’ve been good would’ve been a lot of Apache, and Apache took a back seat to everyone else here. Estrellita taking the direct loss in both pinfalls, once to La Seductora of all people, is either a sign of greatly changed plans for Estrellita or a sign no one thinks these things out before they happen.

pulling the rope

Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr., Stuka Jr. vs Black Warrior, Kráneo, Psicosis 2: a completely random Guerrero Maya vs Black Warrior feud that didn’t seem to resolve here. Maybe they just needed an idea for the match, but it was odd to not have it factor in the finish. Match was okay but really could’ve used more time; all the matches on the undercard felt a minute or two shorter than usual and that was fine, but this was the one who the shortest and missed the most and felt it. Stuka wearing gear that matches Delta’s is interesting, partly because Stuka seemed to have one outfit for about five years there, and weird when Delta isn’t really wearing those colors in that match.

double dive

Atlantis, Mistico, Titán vs Ephesto, Mephisto, Misterioso Jr. 2: Mephisto and Titan really didn’t develop into the last fall, and the rudos really didn’t do much of interest except set up the técnicos; there’s better matches to be found. Weird to see Místico pay second fiddle to Titan and get pinned by Misterioso; that’s like something from an alternate world where Místico is being slowly moved up the card while proving himself and not desperately forced to the top. I’d like to live in that world. Mephisto turn as super dramatic orator was amusing. I hope he has a friend who lets him into the movie theater for free, so he didn’t have to pay each of the twenty times he’s clearly seen the latest Batman movie.
