tope

Sagrado vs Tiger in a lightning match: Not good. Turn taking it at it’s least with an cheap finish. Crowd looked bored every time they showed then and no wonder, it was just a bunch of spots. The marathon of Sagrado lightning matches would make more sense if they were good matches.

nightmare fuel

Marco Corleone, Máximo, Prince Devitt vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Rey Escorpión, Taichi: Better than previous match but didn’t do a lot for me. Rudos didn’t do a whole lot and the usual técnicos were doing their usual routines. Crowd got into it, as they normally do, but it is routine. Like the Friday match, Rojo & Devitt were the focus but didn’t feel like they did a lot in the match.

Niebla dances to a loss

Atlantis & Diamante Azul vs Felino & Mr. Niebla for the CMLL World Tag Team Championship: didn’t work for me in the first few falls, and overall suffered from the rudos trying to wrestle more serious than usual; it makes sense in the context of a title match but didn’t work for what they do best right now or what the fans wanted to see. Azul looked green, especially in the first fall mat work with Felino. They did okay and they got to a finish, but there wasn’t a lot to recommend from this one.
