Halcon won’t let go

Astral, Pequeño Halcón, Último Dragoncito vs Demus 3:16, Pequeño Nitro, Pequeño Olímpico : Rudos destroying the técnicos was good. The técnico sections were not as quite as good. This was the Demus show; I had him down for three gif worthy moments and probably could’ve done some more. Demus is way over, and way not used enough.

a bit out of control

Marco Corleone, Máximo, Rush vs Black Warrior, Mr. Águila, Olímpico in a tournament semifinal match : pretty much an exhibition for the técnicos. Rudos were never in any real danger and only had about a minute of control in a decently long match for this sort of tournament. Finish look very good.

Demus destroys Astral

Felino, Negro Casas, Rey Bucanero vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Rey Escorpión, Último Guerrero in a tournament semifinal match : a more balanced match than the last, maybe a bit tilted towards the Guerrero but both teams had their moments. Disappointed the Ultimo Guerrero vs Rey Bucanero face off didn’t get a reaction, but that ship has sailed. Nice job of having UG not get a pinfall here to set up later events.

well timed

Marco Corleone, Máximo, Rush vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Rey Escorpión, Último Guerrero in a tournament final match : Maybe it’s lost in the Rush ascendancy, maybe it’s because there are not a lot of fans of the other two in the internet fanbase, or maybe it’s because they really don’t team a lot on Mexico City TV, but Bufete del Amor are very underappreciated as a trio. They are a machine in every match, working hard and with dozens of a cool teamwork spots. They’re more then their individual parts when they work together and have gotten really good over time. Looking forward to next week’s title match. In the other corner, the new idea seems Rey Escorpion and Dragon Rojo don’t actually want to leave the Guerreros and are fine teaming with him, they just want to take over leadership of the group. This won’t end well for them, but it does suggest they won’t might not be leaving the Guerreros name behind if and when they ditch their third wheel.

Guerreros win?
