Two quick falls and a less than satisfying third fall to decide. Rush accidentally dropkicked the ref, Bucanero got a visual pin, Bucanero checked on the ref, Rush grabbed Bucanero and submitted for his loss.
5) In Memoriam L Metatrón, Infierno, Esfinge, Acertijo, Black Metal, Halcon de Plata, Mr. Trueno [cage, mask]
Luchadors were required to stay in 8 minutes. Order of escape was Acertijo, Metraton, Halcon de Plata, Mr. Trueno, Black Metal, and Infierno. As normal under CMLL rules, the last two – In Memoriam & Esfinge – faced off in a one fall match, and Esfinge won with a puente olimpico. In Memoriam was revealed to be Manual Campos Ornelas, from Guadalajara, 3 years a wrestler, 20 years a wrestler.

1) Matrix Jr. b Serpiente de Oro
Straight falls.
2) Golden Magic & Saruman b Carta Brava Jr. & Imposible
Rudos took 2/3.
3) Alan Extreme, Black Terry, Temerario Infernal b Oficial 911, Oficial AK47, Oficial Fierro
Oficials jumped the Temerarios and won the first fall, but then lost it for excessive violence on Infernal. Temerarios came back to win the second in straight falls. Infernal beat AK-47, setting up both the singles and trios title match next week.
4) Cerebro Negro, Dr. Cerebro, Relampago vs Chicano, Heddi Karaoui, Loco Max
Tecnicos took 2/3. Chicano ran from Cerbero Negro a lot during the match, but took the Cererbo Driver for the loss.
5) Hijo de LA Park, Trauma I, Trauma II b El Hijo del Medico Asesino, Hijo de Máscara Año 2000, Hijo de Pirata Morgan
Tecnicos swept, the third two fall match of the night. Pirata & Mascara did not get along. Mascara sabotaged a Pirata pinfall on Trauma I in the final fall, which led to an argument and Trauma I pinning Pirata. This sets up a triangle mask/championship match for next week.
Stuka & Fuego said they want to defend their titles against the top stars of CMLL next, including the world tag team champions. They’d also like to go to New Japan to defend the belts. On the Terra broadcast, the announcers said Artillero & Super Comando would get the next shot, which is the very opposite direction.
There’s now a @_hombredenegro_ twitter account. It’s posting vague mediation and teasing the El Luchador Season 2 debut on 10/08.
El Diario de Sonora has an interview with Mocho Cota about his career and current goals. Cota wants to promote Sundays locally, bringing a couple CMLL or AAA stars each week; a previous promoter brought in Mesias, Cuervo, Tigre Cota, Konnan, Jack Evans, Pimpinela and many others, and lost a tone of money on the whole thing. He’s looking for sponsors, but would really like the local government to set up a local wrestling arena.
La Union has an article on the ANLL group in Morelos, who’s results are often posted on Estrellas del Ring. They celebrated their sixth anniversary this weekend. The article mentions the current Morelos champions: lightweight champion Nahual, welterweight champion Fenix (not the AAA one), middleweight champion Electro and light heavyweight champion Celestial (also not that one.) I think I can go back and work out title histories on these for a ways back.
