09/16 AAA TV Lineup (Ecatepec)

AAA TV (SUN) 09/16/2012 Centro Civico de Ecatepec, EdM
1) Dinastía & Mascarita Dorada vs Mini Charly Manson & Mini Histeria
2) Cuervo & Fabi Apache vs Gran Apache & Mari Apache
3) Alebrije, Fenix, Samurai del Sol vs Devil Rocker, Machine Rocker, Soul Rocker
4) Cibernético, Héctor Garza, Ozz vs Chessman, Halloween, Psicosis
5) Dr. Wagner Jr., Electroshock, Jack Evans vs Máscara Año 2000 Jr., Silver King, Teddy Hart

Lineup via Samurai del Sol’s twitter of all things.

Air Date: let’s say 10/07 but no sure thing. There’s still one more week of TripleMania, two weeks of Tampico, and one week of the Expo before they get to this one.

Main event is a trios of feuds that just won’t die.

I believe Ozz is meant to be in the Bizarros, though the semimain may clarify. Thankful for no Joe Lider.

Tercera could be very good. The results from the Expo show sounded like Samurai was only in the one show, but it appears to it could be a more regular gig. (Which suggests the other visitor in that match might also have turned up as part of a definite plan.)

Five matches means this is a one one taping show, with the first two matches only airing on the syndicated show. Those two matches will definitely be worth tracking down.

No next taping announced, but it’s a ways off.

As I seem to keep writing on every one of these, AAA’s plan is to run two more major events before the end of the year, but there’s no signs of building to a major event. I guess there’s always the chance that an Antonio Pena show could have some TNA vs AAA theme which might be built up thru inserted taped promos from Orlando and not matches. I’m leaning more towards that show, Heroes Inmortales, being a bit like the Noches de Campeons show earlier this year. It’ll still have the name, but it’ll be more a slightly more important TV taping than the usual megashow. There just won’t be a lot of time to do two megashows justice, and I have no doubt they want the one in December to really be big.

Navarros keep titles (and Park and Wagner fight), Negro Casas on Angel de Oro

IWRG (SUN) 09/02/2012 Arena Naucalpan [The Gladiatores]
1) Infierno Kid Jr. b Radical
straight falls
2) Centvrión & Freelance b Alan Extreme & Eita
Alan Extreme replaced the Mummy.
3) Carta Brava Jr., Chicano, Violencia Jr. b Golden Magic, La Cobra, Multifacético
Chicano’s debut as a rudo started off poorly, screwing up and being pinned by Golden Magic in the first. Chicano’s partners were suspicious of him and didn’t want to work with Chicano after that, but they rallied to win the second fall. In the third, Golden Magic pinned Violencia with a 450 splash, but Chicano surprised captain Cobra with a small package to win the match. Carta Brava Jr. welcomed ex-rival Chicano to the rudo band, and Golden magic challenged him to a mask vs hair match.
4) El Hijo del Medico Asesino, Heddi Karaoui, Oficial AK47 b Freyser, Relampago, Trauma II
Freyser is recovering from a (unspecified) injury. Rudos took 1/3, Trauma II pulled AK-47’s mask for the win.
5) Negro Navarro & Trauma I DQ Hijo de LA Park & Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. [IWRG IC TAG]
Navarros came as champ. First fall lasted 20 minutes, Navarros putting on holds and young challengers responding before the Navarros finally put them ahead. Challengers used two on ones to take the second fall. Navarros worked as rudos in the third, going after the masks. Park beat Trauma one with a piledriver variation, but Wagner was caught fouling Navarro for the DQ. Champs keep the belts. Park was understandably annoyed and started fighting with Wagner. That team is done.

Negro Casas says he’s open to giving Angel de Oro a third shot at his title near the end of the year, if they can get it to happen on a Friday. Casas would not be upset if he lost, because he knows Angel de Oro will be a great luchador and is coming on strong. Casas noted Oro was a lot less nervous than the April title match. Oro really has improved a lot in four months, it’s especially evident in all those trios matches with Mistico.

A poster on Facebook mentions Casandro and Yuriko were in the crowd on Sunday night, and heckled harshly by the rudo fans.

Last Thursday, Tercera Caida said CMLL (and the TV network) decided Volador vs Mr. Niebla from Puebla can not be shown due to excessive blood. It was enough blood to get them both suspended too. If you’ve seen Perro vs Mesias from TripleMania, you can tell AAA and Televisa do not have the same policy.

Lady Afrodita replaces Dark Angel this Tuesday in Arena Coliseo Guadalajara. It seems like Apolo Dantes would prefer to be able to advertise the people who he knows will actually be on his show.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.

Luchas 2000 #636 has Champion of the Universe Terrible.

Temerario Infernal seems too obvious, so maybe Veneno?

Saruman has been missing from months. Perhaps he got a summer job.
