Hijo del Fantasma vs Pólvora in a lightning match: these two didn’t mesh well at all early, didn’t do much to the crowd into it, and didn’t do much than the standard lightning match when it came down to it. Standard stuff from both guys.
Rey Bucanero, Terrible, Tiger vs Kráneo, Namajague, Yujiro: not as good as other matches in this feud. Didn’t help they got totally lost in the second fall (and for so long that the gif would be gigantic), but it just didn’t flow as well as the previous weeks match. Terrible as a rudo fighting the foreign threat might work in isolation, but TRT as a concept does not work nearly as well as técnicos.
Diamante Azul, La Sombra, Máscara Dorada vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Último Guerrero, Volador Jr.: very walk thru-ish in the first two falls and picking up in the third fall. It turned out to be a fine TV main event, but there are sure a lot of UG/Volador/whoever vs Sombra/Dorada/whoever matches to find from the first half of this year and this wasn’t any more memorable than any of them. UG & Volador sure do team up a lot, and Sombra sure does seem to lose a lot of these of late.
