taped 2012-05-19 @ Plaza de Toros de Chilpancingo, Guerrero

wouldn’t it have been easier to – oh, never mind

Jack Evans vs Teddy Hart, Juventud Guerrera, Psicosis for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship: an entertaining match, though not always so logical. Only half the guys seemed to break up pins in an elimination match, which his half as many as usual. Baby steps. The extreme aspect seemed only to exist to get Psicosis out of the match, no one else really used it. Teddy appears to be banned from using a sit down piledriver, but it’s totally legal to do it if you can do a flip at the same time. Still, there was a lot of exciting stuff and it was great to get a ‘new’ matchup and a clean finish to end it

Final Justice (of a sort)

LA Park vs el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Dr. Wagner Jr., Cibernético, Chessman for the AAA Latin American Championship: Another good, if not especially logical match, with a lot of action and not a lot of sense. I don’t quite understand putting people in elimination matches if they won’t get eliminated, but they could use a better process of noting when they’re actually eliminated. A very technical complaint, but Wagner just sort of disappeared here. Crowd really was into Cibernético and not much into LA Park, a bit strange. I really want to see a Chessman vs LA Park single match after their exchange here, and Perro looked extra motivated when working with Chessman too. AAA multiman matches have tended to turn into amoebic messes, but everything flowed well in both of these.

Chessman + Park = magic
