Teams were rudos vs tecnicos. Elimination order: Spark (by Pequeno Olimpico), Meteoro (by Pierrothito), Hippie (Electrico), Olimpico (by Dragoncito), Azteca de Oro (by Pierrothito), Astral & Electrico were eliminated at some point, Demus beat Pierrothito, and Dragoncito beat Demus.
3) Demonio Maya, Niebla Roja, Puma King, Vangelis b Dragon Lee, Sky Kid, Smaker, Triton
Smacker replaced Rey Cometa. Niebla Roja’s GDL debut, with a win.
4) Atlantis, Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr. b Felino, Mr. Niebla, Sangre Azteca
Sangre Azteca replaced Negro Casas. Atlantis pinned Mr. Niebla with a ‘rana.
5) La Máscara b Mephisto [MEX LH]
Puma and Guerrero Maya were the seconds. Mephisto won the first fall with “a half crab that almost split La Mascara in two.” Mascara won the second with a casita, and the long third fall with the campana to keep the title.
Hoping the cibernetico makes air. We need some pictures of El Hippie.
CMLL (MON) 06/18/2012 Arena Puebla [ Espectáculos Del Cuadrilátero]
1) Ares & Siki Ozama Jr. b Dinámiko & Milenium
Veteran rudos took falls 2/3 to beat the young tecnicos.
2) Leono, Metálico, Sensei b Bobby Zavala, Hooligan, Taurus
Taurus’ debut in CMLL. Rudos took the first, then were DQed for excessive violence in the second, then Leono beat Hooligan in the third.
3) Amapola, La Seductora, Lady Afrodita b Dalis la Caribeña, Luna Mágica, Marcela
Rudas took 2/3, Seductora pinning Marcela (!) and asked for a title shot (!!). Tirantes did cheat Marcela in the third to set it up, and which left Marcela angry enough to agree to the match.
4) Ángel de Oro, Atlantis, Blue Panther DQ Black Warrior, Olímpico, Psicosis
Mije was with the rudos. Tecnicos took 1/3, Warrior ripping Atlantis’ mask off in annoyance in the third.
5) Marco Corleone, Máximo, Rush b Dragón Rojo Jr., Rey Escorpion, Último Guerrero [CMLL TRIOS]
Love Buffet came in with the belts, and won falls 2/3. All the tecnicos beat all the rudos in the third.
A title match for Seductora! This has been the biggest couple months of her career. Marcela/Seductora sounds a little better than Amapola/Lluvia but either existing is odd.
