Astral, Bam Bam, Pequeño Halcón vs Pequeño Nitro, Pequeño Olímpico, Pierrothito: Weak performance by the técnicos – Astral and Halcón were both worse than usual and their usual is not so good as to make that acceptable. Bam Bam was not totally into it either, and the whole thing felt off.
Dragon Lee, Rey Cometa, Sangre Azteca vs Cancerbero, Namajague, Raziel: Much better than the minis match, very good in parts. Not a lot new or different but still fun. Dragon Lee just needs to wrestle Namajague forever.
Ángel de Oro, Diamante, Hijo del Fantasma vs Mr. Águila, Olímpico, Psicosis: short match – so the lighting match we didn’t see could get the time? Fantasma and Psicosis seem about on the same level, and I’m not sure who that’s unfair too. There were some good ideas here, but things didn’t look all together smooth.
Dragón Rojo Jr., Último Guerrero, Volador Jr. vs Blue Panther, Diamante Azul, Máscara Dorada: It’s a bit more apparent from watching that the plan was for the tag title match all along – they did more with Dragon Rojo & Blue Panther than came across in other fashions – but Diamante Azul vs Ultimo Guerrero came across as the much stronger issue. Maybe it’s too soon for that match? Dorada did not have a good night.
Wow I saw this show completely different. Really liked the semi-main as they were trying new stuff and it had an unpredictable finish.
This was also one of the first shows where I noticed Dorada had started to step up his game. Don’t see how he offended you in the 30 seconds of ring time he got.:p
