Bucanero & Pierrothito keep their belts, Mari Apache explains herself (a bit)

CMLL (TUE) 04/10/2012 Arena Mexico [CMLL, Kaiser Sports (1-3), Kaiser Sports (4-6)]
1) Camorra & Inquisidor b Bengala & Soberano Jr.
2) Dark Angel, Dalis la Caribeña, Marcela, Silueta b Amapola, Princesa Blanca, Princesa Sugheit
Silueta’s latest return from Japan. Tecnicas took 1/3, Marcela defeating Amapola with the Michinoku Driver. Dalis replaced Dark Angel, who had an emergency requiring her to return to Canada.
3) Pierrothito b Eléctrico [MEX LIGHT]
Pierrothito took falls 1/3 to keep the title. Seconds were Camorra and Soberano. Pierrothito now wants a mask vs mask match with Electrico to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Pequeno Estrellas division. Pierrothito dedicated the win to Pierroth.
4) Black Warrior, Fuego, Titán DQ Cancerbero, Niebla Roja, Virus
Tecnicos won 1/3. Virus fouled Titan in the third.
5) Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas, Rey Escorpion b Ángel de Oro, Marco Corleone, Shocker
Negro Casas beat Angel de Oro via casita. Angel de Oro wants a shot at Negro’s title
6) Rey Bucanero b Máximo [CMLL LH]
Rey Bucanero took falls 1/3 to keep the title. Bucanero gave credit to Maximo for being a great fighter despite his silliness, and wants a rematch in a hair match or the same with Shocker. Bucanero said he’ll be supporting Terrible and Euforia on Friday.

Next Tuesday’s show will be a fan appreciation show. Seems quick for Angel de Oro vs Negro Casas, but maybe next week sets it up

Mari Apache explains (somewhat) that they were losing matches because Fabi Apache was not taking lucha libre seriously enough, so she joined the rudos to make Fabi be more serious. This plan seems flawed.

Rob has highlights of 10/07 and 10/14/11 CMLL.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.

  1. What’s the deal with ACM? I don’t think they ran a show last Sunday and it seems they aren’t running one this week either?

  2. @Tim: Not sure, but my guess is that AAA show on the 22nd has made promoting the building right now worthless (even by usual standards.) That’s about a full AAA show with free tickets with advertising out. It’s hard enough to draw with just the local guys already, it’s probably not worth trying when everyone knows they can see the national guys in a few weeks for free.

  3. If keira or however you spell it doesnt like the dtu style then why doesnt she leave the promotion?

  4. @Ash: Not enough options to work to be really choosey about where you work, especially when you’re a woman.
