CMLL (FRI) 04/06/2012 Arena Mexico [CMLL]
1) Metálico & Super Halcon Jr. b Artillero & Cholo
2) Súper Comando b Ángel Azteca Jr. [lightning]
5:34. Bit of an upset win.
3) Cancerbero & Mephisto b Diamante & Valiente [Gran Alternativa, eightfinal]
4) Raziel & Volador Jr. b Felino & Hijo del Signo [Gran Alternativa, eightfinal]
5) Bronco & Mr. Niebla b Fuego & Super Porky [Gran Alternativa, eightfinal]
6) Atlantis & Triton b Hombre Bala Jr. & Marco Corleone [Gran Alternativa, eightfinal]
7) Raziel & Volador Jr. b Cancerbero & Mephisto [Gran Alternativa, quarterfinal]
First time long time partners Raziel & Cancerbero had faced.
8) Atlantis & Triton b Bronco & Mr. Niebla [Gran Alternativa, quarterfinal]
9) Mr. Águila, Olímpico, Psicosis b Black Warrior, Blue Panther, Hijo del Fantasma
Rudos took the last two.
10) Atlantis & Triton DQ Raziel & Volador Jr. [Gran Alternativa, semifinal]
Triton & Raziel were eliminated, Atlantis put Volador in the Atlantida, Raziel ran in and yanked off Atlantis’ mask for the DQ.
11) Negro Casas, Terrible, Último Guerrero b Diamante Azul, La Máscara, Máscara Dorada
Dragon Rojo must’ve not been cleared, because Terrible took his place. Quick two fall match for the rudos.

The AAA show in Toluca on Thursday never happened, supposedly because the local promoters failed to put down the 50% deposit. They’ve announced it’ll be held on 04/19 instead.

AYM aired a new lucha show, a AAA/FULL (Tinieblas Jr.) show from 03/16:

1) Senki vs Bizarro
2) Skayde & Pimpinela Escarlata vs Hijo de Pirata Morgan & Mini Cibernetico
3) El Hijo De Huracan Ramirez, Electroshock, La Parka vs Hijo del Canek, Nicho el Millionario, Pirata Morgan

It’s a one camera shoot, but really good attendance.

Reminder: CMLL on Galavision airs late evening tonight. It’s after the soccer game, so it’s possibly starting end endign a few minutes late.

Rob has highlights of 06/94 AAA in Puebla, late March/early April ’97 AAA, 03/04/11 C3 and 03/08/11 C3.

LuchaWorld has video of Fabi & Mari Apache in Arison.

R de Rudo celebrates it’s 2000th post with an interview with Los Bastardos. My next post is 6,000, but I dn’t have anyone near as interesting to talk to.

CMLL (FRI) 04/13/2012 Arena Mexico
1) Höruz & Leono vs Apocalipsis & Bronco
2) Bam Bam, Eléctrico, Fantasy vs Pequeño Nitro, Pequeño Olímpico, Pequeño Warrior
3) Diamante vs Pólvora [lightning]
4) Hijo del Fantasma, Stuka Jr., Valiente vs Misterioso Jr., Namajague, Shigeo Okumura
5) Diamante Azul, La Sombra, Rush vs Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto

Triton is the huge favorite. CMLL is capable of doing weird things.

Bam Bam on a Friday night show! Bam Bam at all is a surprise – this would be his first match in DF since January, maybe anywhere. It’d also be his first Friady night show in 8 months. (So he’ll probably not show.)

Back to the opener for you, Bronco.

  1. Noches de Coliseo had the 04/01 main event, so hopefully more of the show later tonight.
