Dragon Rojo must’ve not been cleared, because Terrible took his place. Quick two fall match for the rudos.

The AAA show in Toluca on Thursday never happened, supposedly because the local promoters failed to put down the 50% deposit. They’ve announced it’ll be held on 04/19 instead.

AYM aired a new lucha show, a AAA/FULL (Tinieblas Jr.) show from 03/16:

1) Senki vs Bizarro
2) Skayde & Pimpinela Escarlata vs Hijo de Pirata Morgan & Mini Cibernetico
3) El Hijo De Huracan Ramirez, Electroshock, La Parka vs Hijo del Canek, Nicho el Millionario, Pirata Morgan

It’s a one camera shoot, but really good attendance.

Reminder: CMLL on Galavision airs late evening tonight. It’s after the soccer game, so it’s possibly starting end endign a few minutes late.

Rob has highlights of 06/94 AAA in Puebla, late March/early April ’97 AAA, 03/04/11 C3 and 03/08/11 C3.

LuchaWorld has video of Fabi & Mari Apache in Arison.

R de Rudo celebrates it’s 2000th post with an interview with Los Bastardos. My next post is 6,000, but I dn’t have anyone near as interesting to talk to.

CMLL (FRI) 04/13/2012 Arena Mexico
1) Höruz & Leono vs Apocalipsis & Bronco
2) Bam Bam, Eléctrico, Fantasy vs Pequeño Nitro, Pequeño Olímpico, Pequeño Warrior
3) Diamante vs Pólvora [lightning]

6) Euforia & Terrible vs Atlantis & Triton [Gran Alternativa, final]

Triton is the huge favorite. CMLL is capable of doing weird things.

Bam Bam on a Friday night show! Bam Bam at all is a surprise – this would be his first match in DF since January, maybe anywhere. It’d also be his first Friady night show in 8 months. (So he’ll probably not show.)

Back to the opener for you, Bronco.

04/06 AAA TV Results (Neza)

AAA TV (FRI) 04/06/2012 Arena Neza [Estrellas del RingLucha Libre AAA]
1) Comando Negro & Dr. Cerebro b Guerrero Mixteco & Rey Neza
dark match.
2) Fabi Apache, Lolita, Mascarita Dorada b Mari Apache, Mini Psicosis, Sexy Star
Mari Apache is back on the ruda side, feuding with her sister, though there were pictures of her also having problems with Sexi Star. Dorada pinned Psicosis and challenged for his title.
3) Atomic Boy, Relampago, Súper Fly b Ángel Mortal, Gallego, Tito Santana
Atomic Boy pinned Gallego this time, still got beat up by the rudos.
4) Cuervo, Joe Lider, Ozz b Dark Dragon, Octagón, Último Gladiador
Nicho ran in and stapled Joe Lider in the forehead. Not a DQ. Ozz pinned Gladiador.
5) Máscara Año 2000 Jr., Texano Jr., Toscano b Drago, Fenix, Heavy Metal
Fenix replaced Daga and kicked Hombre en Negro in the head, but still lost. Consejo is undefeated (except for the matches they lost before Rey de Reyes.)
6) Chessman, el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Nicho el Millionario b Dr. Wagner Jr., Electroshock, Jack Evans
Match and post match had run-ins from Teddy Hart, Mascara Ano 2000 Jr., and Joe Lider. Mascara attacked Wagner, setting up a Perro win.

Air date: 04/21

Based on these shows, what we’ve got for TripleMania

  • not Atomic Boy vs Gran Apache, that’ll be bumped for a TNA match obviously
  • Joe Lider vs Nicho el Millionario in a continuation of a feud that’s over
  • Teddy Hart vs Jack Evans in the resumption of a feud to keep Jack for getting any real big match ever
  • Mari Apache vs Fabi Apache in a repeat of a feud with no apparent explanation
  • Dr. Wagner vs Mascara Ano 2000 Jr., for those who thought Wagner vs Electroshock was too exciting
  • Mesias defending his title versus Perro or Hector, they haven’t actually made this clear

woooooooo. Get excited!

Next taping is 04/30 in Leon (8:45 start on a Monday night!)
