Notes from tonight’s AAA taping

  • Perros lost the main event by Perro Jr. run in, who then challenged Mesias for a title shot
  • Consejo beat Maniacos with help from Hombre de Negro and a foul on Silver King
  • La Parka fouled Octagon to cause his team to lose
  • Fuerza Aerea won, but were beat up by Consgrados after the fact

SuperLuchas #456 has Mil Mascaras in the WWE HOF and a report on the Todo x el Todo show. Inside, Daga tells the El Amigo de Siempre column that he had planned to bring in Davey Richards for this upcoming DDD show, but postponed it due to his hand injury. Which doesn’t quite make sense if he’s still on the card, but the show was pushed back from it’s original date and maybe Richards isn’t available on the new one.. They’re trying again for that match in June.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.

Croncias y Leyendas points to video of Kamikaze Misawa and Samurai Shiro in Mexico in 1984.

12) El Hijo Del Santo b Angel Blanco Jr. [mask]
Santo won fall 1 with a tapatia in 1:34, Angel won fall 2 with a Valaqueza in 2:31. Solitario interfered in fall three, Villano IV ran him off, and Santo won with a backcracker and a la de a caballo. Angel Blanco Jr. gave his name as David Vargas Camarena, 23 years a wrestler, from Guadalajara.

SuperLuchas says this was a sellout.

No next show announced. Santo again suggested he may risk his mask again in the post match. The last two finishes, as well as the previous show, point to a Villano IV vs Hijo del Solitario mask match and then a Solitario vs Santo one after that, though this would take place over a long period of time.

Air Date: 04/22, probably

Wagner and Perro return to TV after taking the last weekend off. Teddy Hart still can’t get a match but can probably interfere here.

Consejo continue facing AAA trios. Daga’s not going to be in that match, maybe Fenix takes his place.

Second match looks good.

Mystery women is maybe Cinthia again?

No La Parka since Rey de Reyes.

AAA’s website lists the following taping as 04/30 in Leon. That would leave a skip week somewhere in here, no clue as to when.

03/30 AAA TV Results (Queretaro)

AAA TV (FRI) 03/30/2012 Auditorio General José María Arteaga, Queretaro [Ciudad y PoderLucha Libre AAA]
1) Argos & Semental b Argenis & Fenix
Switched from second to the opener. Hombre de Negro, looking thin, helped Consejo win.
2) Cinthia Moreno, La Hechicera, Sexy Star b Fabi Apache, Lolita, Mari Apache [lumberjack]
Moved from first to third match. Cinthia Moreno was the mystery ruda. No explanation given. Cuervo accidentally caused a distracted which allowed Sexi to be Fabi. Mari was unhappy with Fabi after the match.
3) Chessman, Silver King, Último Gladiador b Cuervo, El Elegido, Ozz
Moved from third to second match. Gladiador beat Elegido with a legdrop. Consejo had words for Maniacos after the match. They seem to have dropped the idea of Chessman being moved up out of the Maniacos and Decnnis replacing him.
4) Máscara Año 2000 Jr., Texano, Toscano b Drago, Electroshock, Heavy Metal
Drago replaced Daga. Prior to the match, Mascara Ano 2000 called Dr. Wagner a coward for not being there. Texano also ripped his brother, Silver King. Rudos won, but Maniacos attacked them after the match.
5) El Mesías, Extreme Tiger, Jack Evans b Halloween, Héctor Garza, Nicho el Millionario
Mirroring real life, Halloween had issues with the rest of the Perros. Mesais, who had an early show interview in front of the crowd which seems unmentioned in the results, won with a splash. Teddy Hart attacked Jack Evans after the match. Garza challenged for Mesias’ title somewhere in here. Nicho is still carrying his Psicosis’ mask.

Ciudad y Poder mentions a dark match between unnamed Queretaro wrestlers.

Air Date: 04/07

Next taping is tonight.
